Almost all electrical components work the same across all makes & models which allows a Kwik Wire kit to adapt to your project. The electrical core of components like headlights, tail lights, gauges, starters, alternators, etc, work the same regardless if you’re building a GM or a Ford. They all need power and grounding. We engineer our kits to be adaptive to the vehicle it’s being installed which makes installation easy.

High Quality Wire We only use the highest quality GXL coated stranded wire in all of our restoration wire harnesses. GXL wire is resistant to moisture, grease, oil, gasoline, most acids and solvents. It has a temperature rating of -59°F (-51°C) to 257°F (125°C). Stranded wire enables more flexibility in routing of the wire and offers more durability for applications where vibra-tion and occasional movement of the wire could cause breakage of a stiffer solid wire or rigid stranded conductors.To assist with the install, we also print the number and destination of every wire included in the kit every 4 inches the en-tire length of the wire. The number assigned to the circuit as well as the label are indicated in the instruction book as well, so you'll never lose track of what wire goes where!

Quality Wiring

COIL KILL SWITCH A coil kill switch is included with all of our standard wiring kits. When turned off, this switch keeps power from flowing to the coil of your car to keep it from starting. It’s a great theft resistance feature you can use during storage or at a car show.

PRE-WIRED HORN RELAY Beep Beep! All of our kits come with a horn relay pre-wired into the kit so you don’t have to figure out how to wire it up later. The kit also comes with instructions on how to hook it up. You’ll be honking away in no time!

STAINLESS STEEL FUSE COVER All of our standard wiring harnesses come with a brushed stainless steel cover to protect the fuses. Labels indicating what each fuse is for are also located on the underside of the cover. Oh yeah...and it looks great too!

FULL-SIZE ATO FUSES Some kits on the market cut corners by offering a fuse block that uses mini fuses. Mini fuses can be hard to come by when you need to replace a fuse the most. Our kits use full-size ATO fuses that you’ll be able to find at just about any gas station or hardware store.

Expandable Loom This braided self-wrap sleeving is soft and quiet in high vibration envi-ronments. It's more flexible than split loom and more durable than spiral wrap. Loom material allows wires to be pulled out or new ones inserted re-peatedly if necessary. Unlike rigid slit loom, it will not im-pair or affect the flexibility of the wires. It retains its shape and rigidity from -75°C to 125°C (-103°F to 257°F).

Split Braided Loom F6’s unique split, semi-rigid braided construction makes it the ideal solu-tion for situations where ease of in-stallation is of primary importance.

The lateral split allows the tube to open up to accommodate a wide vari-ety of bundling requirements, and the semi-rigid braid configuration simply closes around the entire in-stallation without the need for any additional fasteners (velcro, tape, etc.)

The 10 mil PET braid is lightweight, quiet and flexible. The 25% edge overlap (at nominal diameter) allows coverage around inline plugs, connectors and splices.

F6 will bend to a tight radius without distorting or splitting open and, unlike full rigid tubing, will not impair or affect the flexibility of harnesses. F6 allows for the addition or removal of wires without disassembly.
