“another way.” What in your family needs to be done “another way?” Do you need another way to resolve

differences, to communicate or show affection? This is a new year, time to change what isn’t working. Take a tip from some wise men, there’s always “another way.”

The Epiphany of the Lord

And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising

preceded them. ― Matthew 2:9

Today’s feast is filled with ironies for us. It celebrates those from afar who early acknowledged the Christ

child and reminds us of those nearby who were threatened by him. Living in a current political climate that debunks globalism and challenges the meaning of Christianity, we must ask: “How do we make Christ’s

presence known?” Who do we accept into our communities and our lives regardless of their origins? Christ’s coming has always turned things upside down

Scripture Readings Is 60:1-6 The new Jerusalem will shine in glory Ps 72 Every nation on earth will adore you Eph 3:2-3a, 5-6 The Gentiles are co-heirs in Christ Mt 2:1-12 The Magi come to adore Jesus

We would like to welcome the newest member of our faith

family: Marcus John Vaga, the son of Stephen and Shannon,

baptized on December 30, 2018.
