April is Autism Awareness month Letrsquos all Light It Up

Blue on April 2 Itrsquos as simple as putting a blue

light bulb on your exterior and or interior light

Autism is a general term used to describe a group of

complex developmental brain disorders ndash autism

spectrum disorders - caused by a combination of genes

and environmental influences These disorders

are characterized in varying degrees by communication

difficulties social and behavioral challenges and

repetitive behaviors

An estimated 1 in 68 children in the US are on

the autism spectrum

On Tuesday April 12th we ask that your child wear

blue to school in honor of people with autism

throughout the world

MCMS will be hosting a charity dance that they have opened to all 6th-8th grade students from MCMS Riley

Wrestling State Championship

Mason and two other boys from the Marengo Wrestling Club are heading to Danville

this weekend for the 16th Annual Illinois Midget

State Championship

There are over 550 wrestlers competing Mason has the largest number of kids in his 79 lb weight bracket with 52 wrestlers Please wish him

and his two buddies best of luck
