Applications are invited from the desirous UG / pG students of SikkimUniversity for Merit-cum-Means scholarship in the prescribed format.Meritorious students who have secured 55% (50% for SC, ST and OBC) inqualifying examination/overall percentage of previous semesters as thecase may be (50% for renewal cases) with an average family income of lessthan Rs. 60,000/- per annum and receiving no other scholarship/financialassistance from any other source are eligible to apply. Students may submitapplication in the prescribed format along with the parent's incomecertificate (certificate issued by any officer not below the rank ofBDO/Tahsildar) and other related documents duly forwarded by the Headof the Department to the office of the Dean, Students' Welfare latest by 11th

September 2017.

The fellowship will be awarded under the following category

1. Fellowship - Rs. 3000/- per Month2. Free-ship - Full tuition and laboratory fee waiver.3. Half-sheep - 50% tuition fee and laboratory fee waiver. ~
