Erasmus Charity Run a big succes!

A record number of 475 students, staff and alumni of Erasmus University Rotterdam raised a fantastic amount of € 13,400.51 for the Erasmus Education Fund during the latest edition of the Rotterdam Marathon on April 12. 

It was the second time that the runners joined forces as one team and challenged each other during that Erasmus Charity Run. Most of the 300 students, 105 staff members, 25 alumni and 45 friends participated in the 10 km run, a few completed the marathon of 42,195 km.

Workshop Bayesian Econometric Forecasting and Policy Analysis with Christopher SimsFriday 15 June 2015, a one day conference with keynote speaker Christopher Sims, the 2011 Nobel Prize winner for Economics.

In this workshop different approaches to the implementation of Bayesian analysis for interesting problems in different areas of economics will be treated at a high and innovative level. We think about work in macroeconomics, microeconomics (eg. treatment effects), and also in the area of marketing where decision making plays an important role.
