Thank you for choosing to unite with us this year. Even though we cannot join together in person, we can join together on Sunday 20 September, (or a date that suits you).

Whether you walk on your own, with your household or with your four-legged friends, it’s your walk, your way. Plan your route and let’s walk for a world without dementia.

Coronavirus has changed everything for people affected by dementia. As a result of lockdown, people have found themselves isolated from their families and are more vulnerable than ever before.

Our Dementia Connect service is providing an essential lifeline to those who are struggling, just £9.90 can cover the cost of a phonecall with one of our trained Dementia Advisers.

This is where you come in; by walking with us and fundraising you can help us reach those most in need during this national pandemic. If you raise £100 or more we’ll send you a medal in the post to say a huge thank you for your support!

Your welcome pack contains tips and ideas to help you make the most of your fundraising, and we will stay in touch to make sure you are walk ready.

Thank you so much – together we will beat dementia!

How your money changes livesAlzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity that funds research to find a cure, campaigns for change and supports people living with dementia today.

SupportOur wide range of support services strive to ensure nobody should have to face dementia alone.

SocietyWe will fight for a future where nobody affected by dementia is excluded from their community or denied the care and support they deserve.

ResearchWe are investing £150 million over the next decade into dementia research. We fund a variety of projects across the UK to help improve care, and work towards a cure.

£50 supplies our hero scientists with 312 microscope slides, essential in spotting changes that happen in the brain.

£100 allows our trained Dementia Advisers to answer ten calls for help from people who are struggling in this pandemic.

£400 could help us to deliver eight virtual Singing for the Brain sessions for a month, giving people affected by dementia opportunities to stay connected with one another through the power of song.
