ABOUT USYour Magazine is Emerson College’s only monthly lifestyle magazine.

When Olivia Moravec founded Your Magazine in July 2011, she was striving to provide more opportunities at Emerson by introducing the college’s first monthly lifestyle publication, but we do more than just pro-vide invaluable experience in all areas of magazine publishing to the students who make up our staff.

Every month, we put out sophisticated and cutting-edge content that’s rele-vant to the urban lifestyle of our readers. We inte-grate with our communi-ty at Emerson and in Boston to create a magazine that’s relatable, fun to read, and hotly anticipated every month. We engage our audience because we are our audience.

Because we are our audience, we know how to speak to our readership in an accessible way while display-

ing attainable yet covetable fashions. We create a de-sirable lifestyle that’s within reach for the college and young professional set. We are the intersection of what our readers want and what they can have.

At Your Mag, we believe that staying abreast with cur-rent trends in publishing is of criti-cal importance to our readers, ad-vertisers, and staff. We were born as an online magazine, and even now that we’re in print, we’re strongly invested in new media and mak-ing our work available to read-

ers whether they live down the street or across the world. In addition to our monthly print and online editions, we post exclusive blog content daily and use video to engage our readership in a whole new way.

DISTRIBUTIONYour Magazine is available online and in print.Every month, we print 500 perfect-bound copies of our full color issue in addition to making it avail-able online on our website, www.yourmagemerson.com, and on www.issuu.com/yourmagemerson.

Our print issues are distributed for free at various news stands on the Emerson College campus and are gone within days, if not sooner. As we secure a larger budget, we look forward to printing more issues each month.

Our online issues also grab the attention of our read-

ership as soon as they’re available. Our February issue was read by over 500 people within the first 24 hours of it being posted online and reached 1,000 read-ers within the first week. Even after the initial rush to read the latest Your Mag, issues continue to re-ceive online traffic, giving us a significant advantage over publications that distribute exclusively in print.

Our beautiful printed issues and continued commit-ment to publishing online make for a distribution strategy that meshes with the lifestyle of our readers.

Your Magazine reaches almost 3,500 stu-dents on Emerson College’s Boston campus. EDITORIAL CALENDARWith a new issue every month, your ad is always timely.

AD RATES

Ad space opens two months prior to the on-stands date of an issue. From this date until the 10th of the next month (the month prior to the publication of the issue), ad space remains open and available for purchase. As of the 10th of the month prior to publication, space in

that issue is closed and additional insertion requests will not be considered. On the 19th of the month pri-or to publication, all ad designs are due. For example, ad space for the May issue will be on sale from March 1st until April 10th. Designs will be due on April 19th.

If there are problems with the design you have submitted, we will contact you to rectify the issue. If we cannot reach you, we may run the ad as is or refuse to run the ad at our discretion. If we cancel your placement, the ad rate will be refunded less a 10% fee.

If you wish to cancel your placement, you must notify us at least 24 hours before the issue goes to print. If you can-cel with less than 24 hours notice, you may be subjected to a 10% cancelation fee.
