Join us for our 5th Annual Fantasy Football League!

This year we will be holding a completely live draft with complimentary appetizers for our league owners, as well as presenting last year’s winners with their trophies!

Sign-ups are underway for this season’s league owners! Sign-up on the board by the Locker Rooms.

A golfer was having a terrible round – 20-over par for the front nine with scores of balls lost

in the water or rough. When his caddie then coughed as he steadied himself over a

12-inch putt on the 10th, he lost it. “You’ve got to be the worst caddie in the world,” he

yelled. “I doubt it,” replied the caddie, deadpan. “That would be too much of a

coincidence.”

Summer may be ending, but fall is the perfect time to come out and play a round of golf

as the weather is cooler and soon we will have the beautiful fall foliage. It is also a great

time to enjoy a drink or meal on the patio.

Don’t forget to reserve your date for your holiday party – just give me a call or send an

Club Book Club will return to meeting

the 4th Wednesday of the month. We

will meet on September, 25th at 6pm for

drinks and 6:30pm dinner/discussion.

The book selection for this meeting is

“The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides.

Is it September already? I must say it was a very fast

summer of KCC Tennis this year! However, even though it

was a fast summer that didn’t stop a fun summer of tennis.

The growth of the younger players is great!

Please sign-up at the Tennis Shop or the Clubhouse for the

end of the year Tennis Awards Banquet on Sunday,

September 8th. This event begins with a meet and greet

at 5:30pm, with dinner and awards to follow. There will be

trophies and prizes for all the players who participated in

the tennis classes this summer.

If you would like to see some socials or events added to

the Tennis or Pickleball schedule for 2020, please feel free

to contact me. Thanks for a great 2019 summer and I will

see you all at the Awards Banquet!

We have decided to combine the Ladies Closing Cocktail

Party, the Hole-in-One and Golf Awards Banquet, as well

as the Ladies Annual/Suggestion Meeting. This combined

event will be happening on Tuesday, September 24th

starting at 5:30pm. The Annual/Suggestion meeting will

start at 6:00pm, we expect it to be brief, with Dinner to

follow. Contact Nikki to reserve your spot.

For our Annual/Suggestion Meeting, you will be able to

hear the remarks regarding the golf season and our social

events. We will also hold an election for our Executive

Committee. If you are interested in being our 18-Hole Golf

Chair, the 9-Hole Golf Chair, or our Social Chair, please

reach out to Nikki in the Clubhouse by Friday, September

6th to have your name included on the ballot.

Also happening in September, we have our Ladies

Ultimate Shootout event on Sunday, September 8th, and

the Ladies Pow-Wow on Wednesday, September 18th.

Sign-up for these events with Eric in the Golf Shop.

Dedra has put together a Ladies Martini & Manicure Night

on Thursday, October 3rd. This will be similar to the event

we have done for the holidays, without the added

shopping. The shopping will still be available at our Holiday

Dinner. Please reach out to Nikki to make your reservation.

Cook-Out and even a Magic Show - these were just a few

of the great events hosted in August, and all of which were

well-attended and enjoyed by the membership last month.

Do not fear though, as September is filled with events for

the membership to enjoy. Starting with the “Labor Day

Weekend of Fun” out by the Pool on September 1st. Don’t

hesitate to stop out and enjoy as there will be Cotton

Candy for everyone to enjoy, and even a chance to dunk

someone special in the dunk tank.

Continuing the month strong that week, we will also host

the “Fantasy Football Draft” on Wednesday, September

4th, as well as the “Wagner Family of Wine - Member Wine

Dinner” on Saturday, September 7th. If you have not

signed up, yet please be sure to call as this event has

limited availability.

Another great event to attend would be the final “Men’s

Night Out” of the year. This will be hosted on September

25th and has been turned into a fundraiser for the Boys &

Girls Club Art Foundation. This event will feature a Four

Course Dinner, 3 great cigars to enjoy, raffle prizes, a 50/50

raffle (starting September 1st), and a gift for everyone in

attendance.
