This diet is the way of the future and will change the world, one meal at a time. Be proud that no animals were used or killed to make this food, that it has a multi-fold smaller carbon footprint than animal- based meals, and it’s amazing for your body. Day 1Sattva Caesar with Rice, Chocolate Mousse, Cacao Bliss Smoothie. Get your daily dose of kale today! The dressing is also full of nutrients from sunflower seeds, kelp powder, probiotic miso paste, garlic, and olive oil. The added brown rice gives it more carbs to keep you going for longer. The raw organic cacao in the mousse and smoothie will give you theobromine (a metabolite of caffeine) for energy throughout the afternoon as well as a good dose of minerals and antioxidants. Day 2 Kichari, PB Bite, Golden Milk. Ah, Kichari! It’s an ancient Ayurvedic recipe combining mung beans, rice (forming a complete protein) and veggies, designed to sooth the gut and nourish the body. You can literally live (and thrive) off of just this! Topped with probiotic sauerkraut, pea shoots, and ayurvedic hot sauce. The PB bite gives you some extra protein with the peanut butter and quinoa crisps. Golden Milk delivers turmeric. When combined with a touch of almond oil, turmeric absorbs into the body to help with digestion and inflammation. Day 3 Tamas Bowl, Raw Chocolate, Berry Divine Smoothie. Beans and rice combined form a complete protein, so along with the tofu, the Tamas Bowl has you covered. The flax oil in the dressing gives you a dose Omega 3s, too! The Raw Chocolate gives you antioxidants and energy, and the Berry Divine has even more antioxidants from the berries and açaí berry powder along with fibre and minerals from the dates and bananas. Day 4 Rajas Rice Wrap, Chewy Caramel Square, Golden Temple Smoothie. The colourful Rajas Bowl has raw spinach for iron, as well as a good dose of B vitamins in the dressing from the inactive nutritional yeast. The cashews give you some good fats! The chewy caramel square is nothing but dates and cashews, offering you a healthy treat for dessert. The Golden Temple Smoothie also gets a high amount of turmeric into your system, along with dates, cashews, almond oil, Himalayan rock salt, and milk. Day 5Prana Salad, Nanaimo Bar, White Chocolate Speckle Smoothie. The quinoa in the salad is giving you protein, and the pea shoots have beta carotene and foliate.
