• More likely to report doing acts of kindness
than parents
• More active in social, community or school

• In a civic or political group (11%), leading
change using technology and social
purpose ventures
THEIR WORLD IS RAPIDLY CHANGING
• Over 60% of the world’s youth live in
Asia-Pacific region
• That’s 750 million+ young women and
men aged 15-24 years
• Only 56% of young Australians are
independent from their parents by age 24
• 24% of young graduates are struggling to
find full-time employment
THE CHALLENGES
• Two-thirds of young people in
developing countries are unemployedor trapped in low-quality jobs
• Youth unemployment is 3x higher than
adult employment across the globe
• Australian secondary students will have
13 different jobs in 4 industries in
their working life.
