Year 3 and 4 suggested Timetable for World Book Day

World Book day is a celebration of books and reading and while it

is very different this year , lets do our best to celebrate !

The day is pretty much just about enjoying reading and these are

just suggestions however , there are some specific events

happening at different times so we don’t want you to miss them.

9:00-9.30 Listen to the very first World Book day song /Make a world Book day Bookmark/Kitchen roll character

9.30-10.00 Choose from our ‘Ratburger’ World Book Day ideas’ sheet

10.00-10.30 Drop Everything and Read !! Children across Liverpool are joining in with this altogether

at 10 o’clock – just drop everything and read! Maybe combine it with a Bookworm challenge and send us

in some photos of you reading – that would be great !

10.30-11.00 BREAK

11.00-11.30 Enjoy the last exciting chapters of Ratburger!

11.30 – 12.00 Join in the CBBC World Book Day Live Lesson

12.00-12.30 Listen to The Epilogue of Ratburger – Complete the Ice cream activity

12.30-1.30 LUNCH

2.00-2.30 Try the ‘Escape the Library’ or ‘The Masked Reader’ activity Power point games – They’re fab !
