Term 4 Week 9
Yamba Public School
RESPECT: LEARN IT, EARN IT, SHOW IT.
Dear Parents,
The term is fast drawing to a close and teachers and students are wrapping up the year. Reports will be sent home this Friday. Should you wish to have an interview with your child’s class teacher please return the interview note to arrange a time. I enjoyed our first presentation assembly this morning, recognising and acknowledging students for their outstanding citizenship and contribution to a wide variety of sporting and extra curricula activities throughout the year. We certainly have many talented students. I am looking forward to our Celebration of Achievement tomorrow, where we will again recognise outstanding efforts in many areas.
STOP WORK
MEETING
Thursday 8th
December
The NSW Teachers' Federation executive has notified members of stop-work broadcast meetings from 8:45am on Thursday 8th December 2016. Until 10:00am there will be minimal supervision available for students. If you are able to keep your child home until then, that would be appreciated. If not, students will be supervised in groups by a
few staff members, until the remaining teachers return to work at 10 am. Thank you for your
understanding during this time.
