YAC Meeting April 3,2014 5:30pm Board Room Committee Members that were present: Committee Members not present: 1. 2014 Youth Goals: a. Maintaining a profitable bottom line by keeping costs low-we are on track. b. Improve marketing and promoting Summer Camp at TPC. WE will have more descriptive summer camp brochures, Q & A meeting with members, member awareness emails and word of mouth from the committee members c. Youth Committee becomes the voice of the families and to improve the overall experience for the families here at TPC d. Have all camps go through one department, the youth department, it will be much easier on the parents to talk to one person and not go through 3 departments for all information e. Turn Teen Zone room into a place where the kids can go 1. Trial period, have a TV, ebox, games, start out oncea week and the room will be supervised. If we get a good response, will charge families a fee per hour (minimal fee) 2. Kids Night Out are very popular a. February 14 th - 30 kids b. March 21 st – 15 kids c. Next one- May 16 th 3. Spring Break Camp April 14-18…right now we have about 7 kids signed up but should be getting a few more reg packets in within the next couple of days. 4. Summer Camp 2013 a. Signs-ups are coming in slowly, but it will pick up as it gets closer like it always does b. Finalizing shirt ideas
