Yaatri Empowerment through SMS- YES has recently been implemented on primary trains of
BCT division. The system entails a direct-requesting service using SMS for passengers
covering the entire range of on-board services on trains- (a) Watering (b) Linen (c) Pests/
Rodents (d) Cleanliness.
SYSTEM ENABLES:
Requests through SMS / Web page/Mobile app/ Mobile Page.
Virtual communication between Railway Administration and passenger.
Easy to spot the passenger to serve him better.
Closed-Loop Passenger driven feedback system to ensure complaint redressal.
Close monitoring of action taken on requests by login to web page of the system by
admin anywhere/ at-all-times.
