Yaa~Seen

Indeed everything has a heart,

and the heart of the Quran is

Surah Ya Seen!

Surah Yaa~Seen

Surah Yaa~Seen is devoted to RasulAllahSAW

and the Revelation in the Quran that came through

him. The abbreviated letters Yaa~Seen are usually construed as a title of RasulAllahSAW

. This

Surah is described as “the heart of the Quran”, as it concerns the central figure in the teaching of

Islam and the central doctrine of Revelation and the Hereafter.

RasulAllahSAW

said: “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Quran is Surah

Yaa~Seen. Anyone who recites this Surah gets the blessings equivalent to reading ten

Quran.” [Tirmidhi]

The ProphetSAW

said, “I wish that it (Yaa~Seen) is fully retained in the heart of every member of my

Ummah (community).”

There are many blessings for reciting this Surah by anyone who does it for the pleasure of AllahSWT

.

AllahSWT

grants him blessings equivalent to reciting the Quran ten times. For those who recite it

regularly, AllahSWT

removes calamities, hardships, and evil from one’s heart, increases one’s

sustenance, and grants his Du’a.

One who recites it in the morning, AllahSWT

grants his Du’a for the day. And one who recites it at

night, all his sins are forgiven.

Reciting it on a person under evil spell makes the spell go away with the blessings of AllahSWT

.

Many Aulia of AllahSWT

have said that if this Surah is recited at times of hardship or dire needs,

AllahSWT

makes things easy. To those who recite it: AllahSWT

feeds the hungry, clothes those

without clothes, give protection to those who are scared, removes hardships of the needy, frees

those who are imprisoned, frees those under loans from the obligations, and fulfill the needs of the

needy.

Reciting it next to a sick person helps in AllahSWT

providing Shifa (healing). And, reciting at the

time of death brings AllahSWT

mercy and blessing at the place and makes it easy for the dying

person.

May Allah, the most Exalted and Glorious, fill our hearts with the love of the Glorious Qur’an;

may the Infinitely Merciful One make the Qur’an the spring of our hearts, a soothing balm and

healer of all our spiritual ailments and worries, our guide and light in our earthly life,

and a companion and source of comfort for us in our graves, and finally our escort to the jannah,

the eternal realm of bliss that Allah has promised His righteous servants-Aameen!

AllahSWT

’s guidance in Surah Yaa Seen

The main object of this Surah is to warn the non-believers about the consequences of not believing

in the Prophethood of MuhammadSAW

and of resisting and opposing it with tyranny, ridicule and

mockery. Arguments are also given about Tawhïd (the Oneness of God), Risãlat (Prophethood) and

the Hereafter from the signs of the universe and the use of common sense.

1. The Quran is revealed by AllahSWT

– the most Powerful and the most Merciful, to warn the

people who have not been warned by their ancestors.

2. Prophet MuhammadSWT

is the Messenger of AllahSWT

and his traditions are the Siratal

Mustaqeem (the straight path to Jannah.)

3. Our obligation is only to deliver the message of AllahSWT

– we are not the judge or the

enforcers. Only those whom AllahSWT

wills will be guided. To some sinners and arrogant

people the doors of AllahSWT

mercy is already closed. And AllahSWT

is keeping an account

of everything that we do in this world.

4. In delivering the message of AllahSWT

, we must do it very sincerely and unselfishly. Our

only goal should be to invite them to AllahSWT

and in the process helping our family,

friends, and the mankind away from the punishment in the Hellfire.

5. We should reflect in the universal faculties that AllahSWT

has created for us to have a

comfortable life in this world – the fertile land, the food, the Sun and Moon, the

transportation etc. And we must be ever thankful.

6. AllahSWT

has sent messengers to guide us to the right path. Prophet MuhammadSAW

was the

last Messenger. He delivered the word of Allah to guide the believers and warn the non-

believers.

7. The Day of Judgment will come one day. It will happen all of a sudden while people would

be carrying out there normal routines of life. Everyone, including those who died in the past,

will wake up from their sleep in the graves and will rush to AllahSWT

for Judgment. On that

Day, everyone will be treated fairly according to their deeds in this world.

8. Those who obey Him will be rewarded with the total bliss in the Jannah. Those who disobey

and transgress will be punished in the Hellfire.

9. We must recognize that the Shaitan is our open enemy and his aim is to lead us to the

Hellfire.

10. Total immersion in the worship of AllahSWT

is the Siratal Mustaqeem (the straight path to

Jannah.)

SURAH Ya Seen

Bis~mil~lahir Rah~maanir Raheem

(I start) in the name of Allah,

the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

SECTION 1

1. Yaa seeen

Ya-Seen.1

2. Wal qur~aanil hakeem

I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2

3. In naka laminal mur~saleen

Truly, you (O MuhammadSAW

) are one of the

Messengers, 3

4. „Alaa siratim mus~taqeem

On a Straight Path 4

5. Tan~zeelal azee~zir raheem

(It is) a Revelation sent down by the All-Mighty,

the Most Merciful, 5

6. Litun~zira qau~mam maaa un~zira aabaa oohum

fahum ghaafiloon

In order that you may warn a people whose

forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6

Path The messengers The one with wisdom

In order to warn Descended (revelation) Straight

Unaware, heedless Forefathers People (nation)

1. Ya-Sin is usually treated as a title of the holy ProphetSAW. HeSAW said; “Verily, AllahSWT has addressed me in Quran by seven names: Muhammad, Ahmed, Tahaa, Ya Seen, Al-Muzzammil, Al-Mudassir, and Abdullah SAW.”

2. The Book is Hakim – full of wisdom, because it is from the One who is All Wise.

3. It is made very clear and as a warning that the ProphetSAW is a messenger of AllahSWT and thus heSAW speaks the words of

AllahSWT. So there should be no doubt about his message as being the divine message.

4. We ask AllahSWT in Surah Fatihah to guide us on the right path – here AllahSWT tells us that the path of the ProphetSAW is the straight path which leads to Jannah (Paradise.) This ayah also tells us that Quran and Sunnah are both divine guidance and erases

the doubts of the people who do not pay attention to the Sunnah.

5. The Revelation is characterized by two attributes of Allah. It has force and power: for Allah is Exalted in Might and able to enforce His Will. And it brings a Message of hope and mercy; for Allah is Most Merciful. Thus it is warning to people who do not obey His commands – that the Quran is full of Allah’s mercy for us to earn a place in Jannah – but for those who are rebellious

must know that Allah is All Powerful and He can enforce His will whenever He wishes. 6. The warning is in general global for those people who have not been warned in the near past (since in far past all people had received messengers from AllahSWT.) The Quran is also a warning for us – who have not taken the message of Quran seriously as a warning, i.e. those in contemporary times who have not internalized the message of Quran with an absolute certainty that the Hereafter and Day of Judgment are very real events that will happen on their times and those who do not follow the commandments in the Quran will be punished and they would not be able to use an excuse that they were not warned.

Page 5: Yaa~Seen - carymasjid.org€¦ · Indeed everything has a heart Yaa~Seen , and the heart of the Quran is Surah Ya Seen!

7. Laqad haq qal qaulu ‘alaa ak~sarihim fahum la

yu’~minoon.

Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true

against most of them, so they will not believe. 7

8. In~na ja’alna fee a’naaqihim agh~laalan fahiya ilal az~qaani fahum muq~mahoon.

Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars

reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8

9. Wa ja'alna mim baini ai~dihim sad~danw wa min

khal~fihim sad~dan fa agh~shai~naahum fahum la yub~siroon.

And We have put a barrier before them, and a

barrier behind them, and We have covered them

up, so that they cannot see.

10. Wa sawaa un ‘alai~him ‘a an~zar~tahum am lam

tun~zirhum la yu’minoon.

It is the same to them whether you warn them or

you warn them not, they will not believe.

11. In nama tun~ziru manit taba'az~zikra wa khashiyar

Rah~maana bil ghaib fabash~ shir~hu bimagh~firatinw wa aj~rin kareem.

You can only warn him who follows the Reminder

(the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah)

unseen. Give to such one the glad tidings of

forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11

12. In na nahnu nuhyil mauta wa nak~tubu ma qad~ damu

wa aasaarahum wa kul la shai in ah~saina_hu fee imaamim mubin

Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that

which they send ahead, and their traces, and We

have accounted for everything and recorded it in a

Clear Book.

dwellers of the town, when there came Messengers

to them. 13

14. Iz arsal~naa ilai~himus~ na~ini fakaz~ zabu huma

fa'az~zazna_ bisaalisin faqaloo in~ naa ilai~kum

mur~saloon

When We sent to them two (Messengers,) they

rejected them both, so We strengthened them with

a third, and they said: “Verily! We have been sent

to you as Messengers.”

human beings like us, and the Most Beneficent

(Allah) has revealed nothing, you are only telling

lies.”

16. Qalu Rab~buna ya’lamu in~naa ilai~kum

They (Messengers) said: “Our Lord knows that we

have been sent as Messengers to you,

17

18. Qaaloo in~na tatai~ya~rna bikum la il~lam

from you, if you do not desist, we will surely stone

you, and afflict you with a painful torment from

us.”18

19. Qaloo taairukum ma~akum a’ in zuk~kirtum; bal

an~tum qau~mum mus~rifoon

They (Messengers) said: “Your evil omens are with

you! (Do you call it “evil omen”) because you are

admonished? Nay, but you are a people who are

Musrifoon.” 19

20. Wa jaa ‘ a min aq~sal madee~nati rajuluin~yasaa

the town, a man, saying: “O my people! Obey the

Messengers;” 20

21. It tabiu ma~la yas alukum aj~ranw wa hum

you (for themselves), and who are rightly guided.”

22. Wa ma liya laa a’budul lazee fataraeei wa ilaihi

Most Beneficent (Allah) intends any harm for me,

their intercession would be of no use for me, nor

could they save me?”

24. In~nee izal lafee dalaalim mubeen

“Then verily, I should be in clear error.”

25. In~nee aaman~tu birab~bikum fas~ma’oon

“Verily! I believe in your Lord, so listen to me!”

26. Qeelad khulil jan~nah qaala ya_laita qaumi

It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed

him): “Enter Paradise.” He said: “Would that my

people knew!

28. Wa maa an~zalna alaa qau~mihi mim ba’dihi

min jun~dim minas samaa’i wama kun~na mun~zileen.

And We did not send down upon his people after

him any army (of angels) from heaven, nor do We

ever (see a need to) send down (such thing.) 28

29. In kaanat il~la sai~hatanw waahi~datan fa iza

hum khaamidoon

It was no more than a single mighty blast, and behold! They were (all) silent (dead.)

29

30. Ya has~ratan ‘alal ‘ibaad; ma ya’tihim mir rasoolin

il~la kaanu bihi yas~tah~zi’oon.

Alas for (My) servants! There never came a

Messenger to them but they did mock at him. 30

31. Alam yarau kam ah~lakna qab~lahum minal qurooni

an~nahum ilai~him la yar~ji’oon.

Do they not see how many of the generations We

have destroyed before them? Verily, they will not

return to them.

32. Wa in kul~lul lam~ma jami’ul ladai~na

muh~daroon.

And surely, all, every one of them will be brought

before Us.

Those that go silent (dead) Mighty blast; Loud sound Army

Mock at him Comes to them Alas!

Will be brought (to appear.) Return Generations; inhabitations.

28. After 27 Ayaat, this is the first time AllahSWT mentions His punishment. This reflects how He is lot more merciful than His

wrath. In a Hadiths Qudsi AllahSWT says that His Mercy would prevail His wrath. AllahSWT also says that when it is time for punishment, He does not need any big army of special forces like that of angels from sky. He can just say “Kun” and it happens.

29. Allah's Justice or Punishment does not necessarily come with pomp and circumstance, and the forces of human evil do not have the power to subdue them. A single mighty Blast-either the rumbling of an earthquake, or a great and violent wind-was sufficient in this case. Here AllahSWT demonstrates His mighty power; just with one command the nature destroys towns in split seconds. By comparison, imagine in the worldly affairs, the most powerful nation of all time in history is American power today, but will all the might they can conquer even small nations or prevent natural disasters of hurricanes and jungle fires etc.

30. Allah regrets the folly of men, especially as He cherishes them as His own servants.

33. Wa aayatul lahumul ar~dhul maitah; ah~yainaha

wa akh~rajna minha hab~ban famin~hu ya’kuloon

And a sign for them is the dead land. We give it

life, and We bring forth from it grains, so that they

eat thereof.

34. Wa ja'alna feeha jan~naatim min nakhee~linw wa a’nabinw wa faj~jarna feeha minal u’yoon

And We have made therein gardens of date-palms

and grapes, and We have caused springs of water

to gush forth therein

35. Liya’kulu min samarihee wa ma amilat~hu

which they know not. 36

37. Wa aayatul lahumul lail nas~lakhu min~hun nahaara fa izaa hum muz~limoon

there from the day, and behold, they are in

darkness.

38. Was sham~su taj~ri limus~taqar~ril laha; zaalika

(appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty,

the All-Knowing.

39. Wal qamara qad~dar~naahu manazila hat~ta ‘aada kal urjoonil qadeem

And (as for) the moon, We have ordained for it

41. Wa aayatul lahum an~na hamal~na

zur~ri~yatahum fil ful~kil mash~hoon.

And a sign for them is that We bore their offspring in the loaded ship (of Nooh.)

41

42. Wa khalaq~na lahum mim~mits~lihee ma

yar~kaboon

And We have created for them similar (transportation) on which they ride.

42

43. Wa in~nasha nugh~riq~hum fala sareekha lahum wa la hum yun~qazoon.

If it were Our Will, We could drown them: then

there would be no helper , nor could they be saved,

44. Il~la rah~matam min~na wa mata ‘an ilaa heen Except (by) mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment

for an (appointed) time. 44

45. Wa iza qeela lahumut~taqoo ma baina

ai~deekum wa ma khal~fakum la'al lakum tur~hamoon

And when it is said to them: "Fear for that which

is before you (worldly torments), and that which is

ahead of you (torments in the Hereafter), so that

you may receive Mercy 45

46. Wa ma ta’teehim min aayatim min aayaati

rab~bihim il~la kaanu an~ha mu’rideen

And never does a Sign come to them from among

the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away from it.

47. Wa izav qeela lahum an~fiqoo mim~ma razaqakumul laahu qaalal lazeena kafaroo lil lazeena aamanu anut~’imu mal~lau yashaa ul~laahu at~’amahoo in

an~tum il~la fee dalaalim mubeen

And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with

which Allah has provided you," those who

disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed

those whom, if Allah willed, He (Himself) would

have fed? You are only in a plain error."

Loaded; Full Boat Loading up (e.g. on transportation)

One who listens to appeal Drown them Getting aboard

Turning the face away Until a fixed time For enjoyment

41. The past history of his race takes us to the story of the Flood, which is symbolical of Allah's justice and mercy. Noah's Ark was a "Sign to all People": the story of the Ark remains an everlasting Sign and Warning to mankind-a Sign of deliverance to the

righteous and of destruction to the wicked. Man's own personal experience is appealed to in every ship afloat:

42. The stately ships sailing through the seas, heavier than air, yet carrying man and his goods safely and smoothly across the

waters, they are another Sign for man. Ships are not mentioned, but (vessels) like the Ark: they would cover all kinds of sea-craft, but also the modern aircraft, which "swims" through air instead of through water.

44. Allah has given man all these wonderful things in nature and utilities produced by the skill and intelligence which Allah has given to man. It is only Allah's Mercy that saves man from destruction for man's own follies, and that saving or the enjoyment of these utilities and conveniences he should not consider as eternal: they are only given for a time, in this life of probation.

Page 11: Yaa~Seen - carymasjid.org€¦ · Indeed everything has a heart Yaa~Seen , and the heart of the Quran is Surah Ya Seen!

48. Wa yaqu~loona mataa haazal w’adu in kun~tum

Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 48

49. Maa yan~zuroona il~la sai~hatanw waahidatan

They wait only but for a single blast that will seize

them while they are disputing (among themselves!)

50. Fala yas~tatee~oona tausi~yatanw wa la ila_

Then they will not be able to make a bequest,

neither will they return to their family.

SECTION 4

51. Wa nufikha fis~soori fa iza hum minal aj~datsi ila

rab~bihim yan~siloon

And the Trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second

blowing) and behold! From the graves they will

come out hasten on to their Lord.

52. Qaalu ya wai~lana mam ba~’atsana mim

mar~qadina; haza ma wa'adar rah~maanu wa sadaqal mur~saloon

They will say: "Woe to us! Who has raised us up

from our place of sleep?" (It will be said to them):

"This is what the Most Beneficent (Allah) had

promised, and the Messengers spoke the truth!" 52

53. In kanat il~la sai~hatanw waahidatan fa iza hum

wronged in anything, nor will you be requited

anything except that which you used to do.

Will, Bequest Ability to do Arguing (among themselves)

Rush , hasten Graves Blow (trumpet)

Brought to, presented to Place of sleep Raised

48. In addition to the arrogance and blasphemy, they not only refuse Faith, but they taunt the men of Faith: "If there is a Hereafter, tell us when it will be!" The answer is: "It will come sooner than you expect: you will yet be disputing about things of Faith and neglecting your opportunities in Life, when the Hour will sound, and you will have no time even to make your dispositions in this

life: you will be cut off from everyone whom you thought to be near and dear to you, or able to help you!

52. The dead will rise as in a daze, and they will be confused in the new conditions! They will gradually regain their memory and their personality. They will be reminded that Allah in His grace and mercy had already announced the Hereafter in their probationary lives, and the word of Allah's messengers, which then seemed so strange and remote, was true and was now being fulfilled!

Page 12: Yaa~Seen - carymasjid.org€¦ · Indeed everything has a heart Yaa~Seen , and the heart of the Quran is Surah Ya Seen!

55. In~na as~haabal jan~natil yau~ma fi shugulin

Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will

be busy in joyful things

56. Hum wa az~waajuhum fi zilaalin ‘alal araa~iki

mut~taki~oon

They and their wives will be in pleasant shade,

reclining on thrones.

57. Lahum feeha fakihatunw wa lahum ma yad~ da~oon

They will have fruits therein and they will have

whatever they desire.

58. Salaamun qau~lam mir~rab~bir raheem

(It will be said to them): Salamun (peace be on

you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most

Merciful.

59. Wam~taazul yau~ma ay~yuhal muj~rimoon "And get apart this Day! O you the guilty ones!”

60. Alam ahad ilai~kum yaa banee aadama al la ta’budus shaitaan; in~nahoo lakum adunw wum mubeen

Did I not enjoin you, O children of Adam! That

you should not worship the Shaitan? Surely he is

your open enemy,

61. Wa anee budooni haaza siraatum mus~taqim And that you should worship Me (Alone). That is

the Straight Path.

62. Wa laqad adhal~la min~kum jibil~lan katsira; afalam takoonu ta’qiloon And indeed he (Satan) did lead astray a great

multitude of you. Did you not, then, understand?

Thick shades Busy enjoying Occupation (activity)

Delicious fruits Resting on pillows Thrones

Enjoined; Charged Separate, spread away What ever they desire

Groups of people Leading astray Enemy

55. Note the gradation in the description. First, there is the nature of the joy therein. It will be a Garden i.e., everything beautiful to see, hear, feel, taste, and smell; delightfully green lawns, trees; the streams and the songs of birds; the flowers, the flavors of fruits; and the perfumes of flowers and scents. An active joy, without fatigue: a source of total joy without alloy.

56. Secondly, the joy or happiness is figured to be, not solitary, but shared by partners.

57. Thirdly, a total Bliss -- the Bliss in the Hereafter has an inner quality.

58. Fourthly, the highest grade of bliss, the salutation "Salaam (Peace!)" from Allah Most Merciful -- the final Goal.

59. Now contemplate the state of the Sinners in a graduated descent. In the first place, their state of isolation. From this Day of Judgment, they will no longer have the chance of being with the Blessed. The first feature of the Day of Judgment is that it is a Day of Separation.

60. Secondly, there is a gentle reproach to the wrong-doers. They are addressed as "children of Adam", to emphasize two facts, (1) that they have disgraced their ancestry, and (2) that Allah Most Merciful has throughout the ages continued to warn mankind again

Page 13: Yaa~Seen - carymasjid.org€¦ · Indeed everything has a heart Yaa~Seen , and the heart of the Quran is Surah Ya Seen!

63. Haazihil jahan~namul latee kun~tum tuadoon

This is Hell which you were promised! 63

64. Is~lauhal yau~ma bima kun~tum tak~furoon

Embrace (the Fire) this Day, for that you used to

disbelieve!

65. Al~yauma nakh~timu alaa af~waahihim wa tukal~limuna aidihim wa tash~hadu ar~juluhum bima kaanu yak~siboon

This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their

hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear

witness to what they used to earn. 65

66. Wa lau nashaa’u lathamas~na ‘alaa a’yunihim

fas~tabaqus~sirata fa an~naa yub~siroon

And if it had been Our Will, We would surely have

wiped out (blinded) their eyes, so that they would

struggle for the Path, how then would they see?

67. Wa lau nashaa’u lamasakh~naahum ‘alaa makaa~natihim famas~tata’u mudiy~yaw wa la yar~jioon

And if it had been Our Will, We could have

transformed them (lifeless objects) in their places.

Then they would not have been able to go forward

(move about) nor they could have turned back.

SECTION 5

68. Wa man nu’am~mirhu nunak~kis~hu fil khalq;. afala ya’~qiloon

And he whom We grant long life, We reverse him

in creation (weakness after strength). Will they not

then understand? 68

69. Wa ma ‘al~lam~naahush~shira wa ma yam~baghil lah in huwa il~la zikrunw, wa quranum muboon

And We have not taught him (MuhammadSAW

)

poetry, nor is it worthy for him. This is only a

Reminder and a plain Quran.

70. Liyun~zira man kaana haee~yanw wa yahiqal qaulu alal kaafireen

That it may warn him who would have life, and

(that) the word may prove true against the non-

believers

Put a seal on it Embrace (enter) That you were promised (warned)

Their feet Their hands Their mouth

63. The naked fact is now placed before them -the Hell,-the state of damnation, which they could so easily have avoided!

65. Hands and feet" in this connection are symbolical of all the instruments for action which they were given in this life.

68. Everything is possible with Allah. Contemplate the transformations he already undergoes in his present nature at different ages. As a child powers of mind and body are still undeveloped. As he grows, they grow, and certain moral qualities, such as courage,

71. Awalam yarau an~ na khalaq~na lahum mim~ma amilat aideena an~aaman fahum laha maalikoom

Do they not see that We have created for them of

what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that

they are their owners. 71

72. Wa zal~lal~naaha lahum famin~ha raku~buhum wa min~ha ya’kuloon

And We have subdued them unto them so that

some of them they have for riding and some they

eat.

73. Wa lahum feeha mana~fi~oo wa masharib afala yash~kuroon

And they have (other) benefits from them

(besides), and they get (milk) to drink, will they not

then be grateful? 73

74. Wat~takhazu min doonil laahi aalihatal la'al~lahum

yun~saroon

And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods),

hoping that they might be helped (by those so

called gods)

75. La yas~tatee~oona nasrahum wa hum lahum jun~dum muh~daroon

forward as a troop against those who worshipped

them (at the time of Reckoning).

76. Fala yah~zun~ka qauluhum in na’nalamu ma yusir~roona wa ma yu’linoon

So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O

MuhammadSAW

). Verily, We know what they

conceal and what they reveal. 76

Will be helped Your rides We disgraced him/subdued him

They reveal They hide/conceal Grieves you

71. If they are blind to other Signs of Allah, they can at least see the simple homely things of life in which they receive so many

benefits from Allah's mercy. How it is that wild animal can be domesticated, and in domestication can be so useful to man? Man can use them for riding or for drought; he can use their flesh for food and drink their milk; he can use their hair or wool.

73. Such as skins for leather, furs for warmth, sheep's wool or camel's hair for blankets or textiles, musk for perfume, and so on. The whole argument turns on this. 'Our teaching is for your own benefit. We confer all these blessings on you, and yet ye turn away from the Giver of all, and run after your own vain imaginations!

76. If men are so foolish as to reject Allah, let not the men of Allah grieve over it. They should do their duty, and leave the rest to

Allah. Allah knows all the open and secret motives that sway the wicked, and His Plan must ultimately prevail, however much appearances may be against it at any given time.

77. Awa lam yaral in~saanu an~na khalaq~naahu min~nut~fatin fa iza huwa khaseemum~mubeen

Does not man see that We have created him from

the small seed? Yet behold! He (stands forth) as an

open adversary! 77

78. Wa daraba lanaa masalanw wa nasiya khalqah qaala maeen yuh~yil izaama wa hiya rameem

And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his

own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give

life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones?"

79. Qul yuh~yi hal~lazee an sha ahaa aw~wala mar~rah wa huwa bikul~li khal~qin aleem

Say: (O MuhammadSAW

) "He will give life to them

Who created them for the first time! And He is the

All-Knower of every creation!"

80. Nil lazee ja'ala lakum minash shajaril

returned. 83
