Dear Friends, I wish to let you know of the wonderful results of the annual PBVM Golf Tournament. The results of this effort raised over $21,000 that will benefit our Parish School endowment fund as well as provide seed money to replace the missing pews in the church. I express my thanks to all who supported this
event financially as sponsors, those who contributed the raffle prizes, the golfers, and those who attended the dinner. This was truly a community event that helps us to recognize how blessed we are to be united in a com-mon effort for our parish community. A special thank you to the organizing committee under the wonderful leadership of Shelley Murphy together with Tom Robbins, Jordan Ruiz and Pamela Smith. They have accom-plished something that we can all be proud of. Thank you also to the Dominican Sisters and those who pur-chased the live auction items and raffle tickets. I thank you all and look forward to next year’s PBVM Golf Tournament. My prayers are with you. I also wish to inform you that I have filled the two position openings on our staff with Diana Jimenez and Chris Garn. Diana will be our bookkeeper and Chris will assume a full time position in the front office. I look forward to working with them and ask that you welcome them. With God’s Blessings, Fr. Stanley Hello! My name is Chris Garn and I am very excited to begin working at the parish office. I look forward to seeing all the familiar faces around as well as meeting the new. A little about me, I was born and raised in Sacramento and have been a parishioner of PBVM for as long as I can remember. I am blessed to come from a very large Catholic family who are all with me here in Sacramento. I attended Presentation School from Kindergarten to 8th grade and two of my favorite teachers are still teaching here (Hi Mrs. Casagrande and Mrs. Baggett!). After PBVM School I at-tended Mira Loma High School and attended college at ARC. My work experience is in customer service and most recently in insurance. I also volunteer on Sunday’s at Presentation as a catechist with Children' Faith Formation. In my spare time I enjoy photography, fishing, camping, and reading (especially about my favorite saint, Padre Pio). I am looking forward to serving God and my parish.
Hello, my name is Diana Jimenez. I have been married for 25 years, I have 5 children, and 1 granddaughter. My three oldest children have graduated from PBVM School and the last two are entering the 8th grade next school year. I have been a Parishioner at PBVM parish for 18 years. I am active in the altar society and as an EMHC. I have worked as a bookkeeper for Diocesan schools and parishes for approximately 13 years. I am excited and look forward to this new chapter here at Presentation.
