Lens Description Guide

Blue Diamond Mirror Lens Provides for high levels of light filtering against bright light and glare. Multi layer, blue mirror coating reflects glare for better protection. This lens protects against UVA and UVB rays which cause both eye fatigue and eye damage. Worn in both inside/outside work environments.

Provides for high levels of light filtering protection against bright light and glare. This lens protects against UVA and UVB rays which causes both eye fatigue and eye damage. Worn outside during the daytime and function as sunglasses.

Gray Lens

Ice Blue LensOffers protection against glare while improving clarity or sharpness of vision. Blue colored lens counteracts the effects of yellow light which cause glare, eye stress and ultimately eye fatigue. Worn in both inside/outside environments, but most effective where yellow light glare is present.

Allows for maximum light transmission without changing or distorting sight or colors. Worn inside or where clarity of vision is important for performance.

Clear Lens

Allows for additional protection against work environments that typically cause lenses to fog-over. Clear lens allows maximum light transmission without changing or distorting sight or colors.

Clear Anti-Fog Lens

Provides protection against glare and infrared radiations. Green special purpose lens that filters infrared radiation created in certain welding operations. Shade 3.0 and 5.0 are typically worn where torch brazing, torch soldering and cutting operations are occurring.

3.0 and 5.0 IR Green Lens

Indoor/Outdoor Indigo Flash LensProvides protection from the glare of bright artificial lighting and sunlight while enhancing visual acuity and contrast. Offers a unique indoor/outdoor view experience. Yellow tinted lens with a flash mirror finish on the exterior surface of the lens creates an attractive iridescent appearance with blue and yellow light filtering characteristics. Worn in both inside/outside work environments.

Indoor/Outdoor LensOffers protection from the glare of bright artificial lighting and sunlight. Does not significantly change or distort sight or colors. Worn in both inside/outside work environments.

Espresso LensProvides for high levels of light filtering protection against bright light and glare, typically worn outside. Choosing between a Gray Lens or an Espresso Lens is often personal preference rather than a significant difference in functionality. This lens protects against UVA and UVB rays which cause both eye fatigue and eye damage.

Amber LensProvides for high levels of blue light filtering to benefit the visual acuity of the wearer in hazy, foggy, or low light conditions. Typically worn on cloudy or foggy days or in shadowy conditions where blurring can occur around objects and contrast is needed to provide a more vivid and defined viewing field.

Polarized LensProvides the most protection against vision loss due to reflective glare caused by water, cement, snow, hood of a car and other highly reflective surfaces. This lens protects against UVA and UVB rays which cause both eye fatigue and eye damage. Worn outside during the daytime as sunglasses where there is bright light and glare present.
