Why do I want to lose weight?

The answer is simple: I want to be a healthy person!

I went for my periodic medical screening in March this year. I was shocked that I was a diabetic patient! My diabetic indicator of HbA1c was 9.3 (normal level for a non-diabetic patient should be less than 6.0). My doctor advised me to take medications to control the situation. I asked for other options besides taking medications and the answer is “to lose weight and change diet”.

I have had a long health history. When I was a kid, I had a tumor surgery on my left arm. A couple of years later, I had another tumor surgery on my left parotid gland near to my neck.
