What We Learned• Reporting is even more important than we thought.• Even the most successful stations have problems.• Our biggest problem, participation, is not typically

the biggest issue for others.• Artists are struggling due to no one paying royalties. • Money is a major issue. • We are one of very few to have automation.• Inspiration can come from anything.• Internal fighting causes the biggest problems for a

station.

How These Things Will Help• Gain new perspective to our problems• More rotation being played and reporting will get

us noticed by promoters.• Music is key to a station’s success and without a

constant influx of new music it will fail.• Image is everything; regardless of what is going on,

we need to appear professional from the outside. • We need to have live music events, which means

partnering with CUB!• Getting involved with community, local businesses,
