Bible Study Betty Clark Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. 2nd Floor Activities Room Regularly and systematically have Bible discussions using “My Book of Bible Stories” as our study aid with, of course, the Bible being our primary textbook. The goal is not only to present the information but to present in a way that allows the students to progressively learn what the Bible teaches. This involves thorough preparation with the student in mind. Preparation involves examining the title, subheading, and visual aids of the chapter or lesson; identifying the answers to the printed questions, deciding which cited scriptures to read during the study as well as preparing a brief review of main points. Our purpose in conducting Bible studies is to “make disciples” by helping people to understand and accept the teachings of God’s word and apply them in their lives. Therefore it is vital that the study center on the scriptures.

Upon retirement Betty immediately took on a new assignment of becoming a “full-time pioneer.” This involves devoting at least 70 hours per month to preaching and teaching God’s word in our community. As a “pioneer” she is dedicated to teaching the Word of God effectively with the goal of building appreciation for Jehovah God and his qualities.
