Telling your apps story withthe Start Screen

Windows Phone is designed to bring your app to theforefront. Windows Phones Live Tile feature createsa dynamic experience for the user and provides anopportunity to surface relevant information to theWindows Phone Start screen.

We have provided two Start screen layouts withinwhich you can feature your app. One features amedium live tile and the other features a large live tile.Choose one of the two layouts to show your app. Donot modify the Start screen l ayout, except to changethe UI theme color as described on page 16 of this kit,unless your modied Start screen has been approvedby Microsoft. To customize a Start screen pleasecontact [email protected].

of the app in action. Always feature the WindowsPhone Start screen (preferred) or Windows Phoneapplication screenshot (second choice) within theWindows Phone device chassis unless otherwiseagreed with Microsoft.
