Tri-Fold Jar of Flowers with Wildflower Seed Packet

Measurements: • Card Base – Bumble Bee CS - one @ 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”. One @ 4 5/8”

x 5 ½”, on the 4 5/8” side, score @ ½”. • Mats – Just Jade CS – two @ 4” x 5 ¼”. Two @ 3 7/8” x 5 ¼”, one embossed

with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and the other with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

• Inside Mat – Whisper White CS – 3 ¾” x 5”. • Inside Accent Band - Flowers for Every Season DSP – 1” x 3 ¾” • DSP Mat – Flowers for Every Season DSP – 3 ¾” x 5” • Accent Banners - Flowers for Every Season DSP – one @ 6” x 1 ¼” and one @ 6”

x 1”, punch with the Banner Triple Punch. • Front Accent Die Cut – Whisper White CS – 3 ½” x 5”, cut with the die from

Ornate Layers. • Sentiments – Whisper White CS – one @ 1 ¾” x 1 ¾”, cut with the die from

Stitched Shapes. One @ 1 ¼” x 4” • Seed Packet - Flowers for Every Season DSP – 5” x 5”, score on one 5” side @ 1 ¼” and 3 ½”, turn and score @ ½” and 4 ½”.

• Seed Packet Topper – Vellum CS – 2 ½” x 2 ½”, scored at 1 ¼”, embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder.

• Small Sunflower for Seed Packet – Whisper White CS – 2 ½” x 2 ½” • Jar and Flowers – Whisper White CS -

Stamping/Coloring:

1. Stems in Jar – Stamp the stems in Shaded Spruce, color with the Light Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend.

2. Jar – Stamp the tall jar, 2nd generation Night of Navy, lining it up with the previously stamped stems.

3. Water – Stamp the water, 2nd generation Balmy Blue, lining it up with the previously stamped jar. Punch out the image with the matching Jar punch.

4. Flowers in the Jar – Stamp the bouquet in Night of Navy. Color the sunflowers with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. Color the small flower with the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. Color the flower centers with the Ivory Stampin’ Blend. Color the leaves with the Light Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend. Apply wink of stella to petals as you like. Fussy cut the image.

5. Whisper White strip of 1 ¼” x 4” with the sentiment “the good things in life….” from the Tasteful Touches set in Night of Navy.

6. Whisper White Stitched Circle – stamp the sentiment “let’s cheer you up!”, from the Lovely You set in Night of Navy.

7. Inside Mat – Stamp the large sunflower, 2nd generation, from Celebrate Sunflowers in Daffodil Delight. In Night of Navy, stamp the words, “you are the best” from the Tasteful Touches set in the center of the sunflower.

8. Small Sunflower for seed packet – Stamp the small sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers set in Night of Navy. Color the petals with Dark Daffodil Delight Blend, leaves with the Light Shaded Spruce Blend and the flower center with the Ivory Blend. Die cut with the die from the Sunflower die set.

Seed Packet:

Assembly: 1. The card base will be constructed into a tri-fold. It will have the main fold on the

left. 2. Adhere the side fold to the right side on the ½” tab. 3. Adhere the accent DSP band to the inside stamped mat. Adhere the stamped mat

to one of the Just Jade mats. Adhere the mat to the center inside panel of the tri-fold.

4. Adhere the Pinewood Plank embossed Just Jade mat to the left inside panel of the tri-fold.

5. Using glue dots, adhere the vellum topper to seed packet. Adhere the seed packet to the embossed panel with glue dots. Wet glue the small flower to the vellum topper. You can download the seed packet label from my blog. I printed mine on Whisper White CS and punched it out with the Timeless Label punch. This is an optional step.

6. Adhere the DSP banners to the Just Jade mat that has been embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Adhere the sentiment to the mat. Adhere the mat to the flap.

7. Adhere the large DSP mat to the Just Jade Mat. Adhere the mat to the card front. 8. Pop the large Ornate Layers die cut to the card front. 9. Adhere the bouquet of flowers to the jar. Pop the unit to the die cut. 10. Adhere a Stampin’ Dimensional to the right side of the stitched circle

sentiment. Adhere the sentiment to the jar, popping on the right. 11. Color 3 pearls with the Light Shaded Spruce Blend. Adhere to the sentiment.
