(d) Counting the number and type of trees cut in presence of HPCL/Government concerned authorities and keeping record thereof;

(e) Trenching to all depth and to a width to accommodate the pipeline and/or optical fiber cable(OFC)/cable conduit as specified in scope document and as per the relevant standards, drawings, specifications, etc. by excavation in all types of soils, etc,

(f) providing trench padding as required with sand/graded earth approved by Engineer-in-Charge;

(g) Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects not attributable to Owner (i.e. defects

(k) carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Engineer-In-Charge, (Carrying out re-radiography and other non-destructive tests as required on repaired joints, etc);

(l) Installation of casing pipes (wherever required) at all crossings including roads/rail, foreign pipeline crossing, etc. by open cut or jacking/boring method including pre-testing as required;

(m) Carrying out installation of carrier pipe in the casing pipe at cased crossings in roads/rail, foreign pipeline crossing, etc (excluding supply and installation of casing pipe covered separately);

(n) Coating of all field weld joints, long radius bends (HI and Cold), buried fittings, valves etc;

(o) Lowering the pipelines in trench including providing Geo-textile/sand bag separators for parallel pipelines at the specified spacing (when applicable), backfilling with available, approved excavated material and/or other suitable soil approved by Engineer-In-Charge;

(p) Carrying out hydrostatic testing including air cleaning, flushing, filling, gauging, pressurization of complete pipeline in various test sections as approved by Engineer-In-Charge to the specified test pressure, providing all equipments, pumps, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester, etc. and services, supervision, labour, consumables,

(s) Fabrication of cold field bends with proper bending machine. Getting approved of method of bending, testing the bends using gauge plate before welding.

(t) Repair of defects recorded during EGP/gauge plate run or otherwise including cutting, beveling, welding, radiography, field joint coating etc; as applicable,

(u) final clean-up and restoration of right of way/right of use including obtaining NOC from respective statutory authorities as required and disposal of debris and returning all surplus material to designated disposal areas/storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge;

(v) Restoration of land, facilities and boundary wall etc at associated facilities dismantled/damaged by the Contractor during construction;

(w) Obtaining work permits/NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction, before execution of the work, and complying with all stipulation/conditions/recommendation of the said authorities;

(x) Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records. SOR shall be read in conjunction with scope of work, job specific requirements, specifications, standards, drawing and other provisions of contract document. All above works for buried pipeline as per following details:

Radiography of weld joints of piping ( using gama or x-ray), including the cost of supply of all material, equipment and manpower required for developing the films, review by ASNT qualified personnel, carrying out defect, repair, re-shoot etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The radiography work shall be carried out complying with all the statutory and safety requirements. Measurement will be done for each weld joint of respective size of piping. In case of any repair, re-shoot, re takes, the same shall not be measured again for payment.
