Extracurricular Activities AJROTC is an award winning program. Student Council won the Gold Honor Council Award and Gabriel Bennett was elected State District 3 Chair. The football, boys and girls basketball, volleyball, track, baseball, and softball teams advanced to the SCHSL playoffs. Saints Boys Basketball won the 2A Re- gion 5 Championship. Thanton Jordan won three areas of the Lower State Track Meet. DECA members competed at the State level and won awards in 6 different events. CCHS was the ONLY school in SC to show improvement in all areas of the ACT. FBLA was reorganized. 11 students were named local Cate Com- pleters. An Inaugural STEM Night was held. Cheerleaders placed in two competitions at the 2017 National Stump Competition. Students at Calhoun County High School are prepared to meet the Pro-

file of a South Carolina Graduate. CCHS maintains rigorous standards

for college and career readiness in math, science, English, language,

technology, engineering, fine arts, and social sciences which promote the
