woodfuel & charcoal review-miyuki iiyama-icraf-2013
DESCRIPTION
On 11 September, Miyuki Iiyama, a socio-economist with the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), and colleagues from CIFOR, Oxford University and INBAR, presented the preliminary findings of a review looking at demand, supply and policies around woodfuel and charcoal in sub-Saharan Africa. The talk gave insights into charcoal production and trade in SSA, and the numerous gaps in the knowledge and data on, particularly, charcoal.TRANSCRIPT
