TRANSCRIPT

Ladies, I’m not sure we can put into words how thrilled we are to be rolling out our Fall 2021 offerings. After a year and a half of pandemic uncertainty, it is so vital for us to gather under God’s great Name and shelter under Him together. What better place to do that than right here at MPC? Our new mission statement details our 2021 /2022 plans perfectly— Love People. Can you send a card, make a meal, volunteer in the

nursery, help at the Spree or work at RePurposed? Join us! Know Jesus. Come for Bible study, my friends! Get to know Jesus

through God’s Word. Sign up for a Wed. morning or Wed. evening Bible study—you’ll never be the same!

Live Transformed. The Holy Spirit is in charge of transforming our

hearts. It’s our job to cooperate with Him as He works that out in us. My prayer is that you’ll join us this fall so that we can encourage each other in this transformation journey.

We love you like crazy and can’t wait to see you soon! Many Blessings,

Welcome!

We understand more of who God is and who we are in Him—His beloved chosen—when we dig into the truth of Scripture. Join a Bible study this fall so we can grow closer to Christ together!

Women to Women (Weekly event offering multiple classes listed adjacent)

Wednesday mornings 9:30—11:30 AM beginning September 15, 2021

Our Wednesday morning studies are a great place to get to know other ladies in our church family, and to be encouraged and challenged by God’s word. We are excited to offer our “Connections Time” again before study during which we share a light breakfast and devotional/prayer time together. We then split into study groups at 10:00 AM and spend our time deepening our faith through Scripture study and discussion. Free childcare is available—please indicate that you are needing childcare when you register for class. Registration for all classes is open now! Please sign up at MYmpcepc.org/women.

Now That Faith Has Come: A Study of Galatians by Beth Moore Led by Michele Holmes

Books available on Amazon, lproof.org, or Christianbook.com

The relationship Paul would build with the Galatian converts―and his determination for the truth of the gospel to be preserved among them―led to one of the most passionate letters in the New Testament. Paul would not sit quietly by and let those who’d been liberated by Christ’s glorious gospel submit again to a yoke of slavery.

He’d send a letter with the volume turned up, calling believers to stand firm in the truth, stay bold in love, and walk by the Spirit. He’d remind them what it looked like to live for God’s approval rather than human approval. The eternal words God entrusted to Paul for the churches of Galatia are as needed today as they were when the ink was still wet on the ancient pages. Join us for this deep dive into Galatians!

Missional Motherhood by Gloria Furman Contact the Women’s Min office to purchase a book.

Led by Shannon Schroeder Two Wednesdays a month/ Childcare is free!

Begins Wednesday, September 22

There's no such thing as “just” a mom. Despite the routine tasks and mundane to-do lists, motherhood is anything but insignificant. God has designed motherhood as part of his greater plan to draw people to himself―instilling all women, whether called to traditional mothering or not, with an eternal purpose in nurturing others.

Working Women Study Ladies, sometimes days are long. You’re up early and out the door, heading to an office or a workplace or dropping off the kids at school. You put in a lot of hours at a screen or behind a desk or with your children at home. Dinner comes and you’re wishing there was a time set aside just for you afterward. There is! Come join our Working Women study on Wednesday nights this fall. This is a special time set aside for ladies who cannot come to a daytime Bible study and who are hungry for God’s Word and fellowship with sisters in Christ. Come in your cozy clothes and get ready to dive into Bible study with us—this is vital for your heart!

Freezer Shelf Ministry Women’s Ministries has adopted a freezer shelf in the church kitchen to hold meals for single moms and for families who could be helped out with a meal during a hard time. Can you prepare a meal for a single mom and her kids or for a family who would be encouraged with a homemade meal? Sign up online at MYmpcepc.org/women. Are you a single Mom who could use a meal this week? Stop in the kitchen anytime and pick up a meal from the freezer. Also, please feel free to update the Women’s Ministries office on ways we can support you.

Love Notes Team Receiving a card in the mail at just the right time is such a blessing, isn’t it? Would you like to join our team of card writers? Each woman on our Love Notes Team adopts one month out of the year to be the card coordinator for people in our church who are ill, have lost a loved one, or just need a little encouragement. Our team is really in need of writers, so if you’d like to join in, please call the Women’s Ministry office to sign up!
