TAKE AWAYS AND NEXT STEPS…….

Mentees and Students:

1. Identify two mentors and ask them to serve as a Mentor for you. Select a Mentor to

help you be accountable and successful.

2. Identify two technology associations that you will join this year, attend every

networking event and meeting for at least one year.

3. Commit to meeting 10 new people at this conference, obtain their business card,

and stay in contact with them for at least one year.

4. Select your next educational advancement (college, a certification), develop a plan

to complete it and put the plan on your mirror…..review the plan everyday.

TAKE AWAYS AND NEXT STEPS…….

Mentors and Leaders:

1. For those of you who are already in the field of technology or in leadership

positions, please identify yourself as you may want to serve as a mentor to

someone in the conference. Select 2 Mentees to pour into this year.

2. Write an article, publish a book or present at a conference, telling your story to

encourage your fellow “women in technology”.

3. In terms of career development, engaging with an executive coach may help

you transition to that next level.
