DWC is giving women hope and reducing theirvulnerability by meeting their basic needs like clothingand bathing utensils.

Some of our members are going through an arts andcrafts training with the hope to train these women weare reaching out to so as to help them generate incomefor themselves.

IMPACT (BASED ON THE SADCPROTOCOL TARGETS)

Article 19 Equal Access to Employment and Benefits:vulnerable women have been disadvantaged by theirbackground and other social issues, these pushedthem towards criminal behavior but they deserve asecond chance to access employment and make aliving so that their lives can turn around.

Article 23 Support Services: In partnership withCorrectional and Rehabilitation facilities a network ofsupport is build for women not to engage in criminalbehavior and those that have to turn a new leaf .W

EFFECTIVENESS

DWC projects give hope, mentoring and peer support to

vulnerable women to aspire for a better life instead of

resorting to negative and criminal behaviour.

DWC also mobilises members and friends to be concernedabout the wellbeing of others and motivate them to give for a

better future for others, especially women, who in turn will

impact the future of their children.

SUSTAINABILITY AND REPLICATION

As long as there will be vulnerable anddisadvantaged women as DWC we will tryby all means to make sure they get help

because helping them is something thatcomes from our hearts.

Most of our volunteers are impacted bythe initiative also members moving to

other areas continue to do the same inthe areas they live in or move to.
