The Waterloo Wolves would like to congratulate
Wolves alum (2006-2007) Tye McGinn on his first
NHL goals as a member of the Philadelphia Fly-
ers.
Tye was a 4th round draft pick by the Flyers in the
2010 NHL Entry Draft. Tye played in the
QMJHL and the AHL before being called up by
the Flyers for 18 games in the 2012-2013 season.
On October 12, 2013 Tye’s first NHL goal came
in Detroit in the 3rd period. The Flyers won 5-2.
Then, on October 15 in a home game against
Vancouver, he scored twice and was named the
#2 Star of the Game (final score Vancouver 3
Philadelphia 2).
Congrats, Tye. We’re proud of you!
