Women of Global Action (WOGA)

is a network of Christian women

in ministry who encourage

each other through prayer and training.

We have a particular focus on issues,

such as poverty, education, trafficking

and AIDS, that impact adolescent girls.

We have active networks throughout

Africa, Asia, Latin America,

Europe and the Middle East.

Our mission is to

educate and connect women

to impact the world with God’s love.

I am also praying for...

Blessed be the LORD, for he has heard the sound of my pleadings.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed.

O save your people, and bless your heritage; be their shepherd, and carry them for ever.

God has provided for our needs abundantly; we are blessed!

A wish for the New Year!

We wish that every Christian Arab woman leader would be able to attend an important conference in March 2009!

Every two years Women of Global Action hosts a leadership training conference for leaders from all over the Arab world.

We’ve had the privilege to be involved in the last two conferences held in Tunisia. It was only then that we began to appreciate the value of such a conference and the impact it has on expanding the kingdom throughout the Arab world!

At these conferences women can:· Praise and worship the Lord out loud!· Receive training on leadership, discipleship and evangelism· Join together for concentrated prayer for the region· Have the joy of being with other believers; we heard from one woman who did not meet another believer for 25 years in her country!· Experience rich fellowship and encouragement, VERY important for those in this region

Please pray for funding for transportation, lodging, materials and all that is required for one leader to attend. We're praying to send 60 leaders to the conference. Donate directly on our web site: www.global-act.org .

Thank you!

We are also taking a team to take part in this conference.

The conference will be held in Turkey

March 19 - 30, 2009.

Come with us!

See for yourself what God is doing in this strategic area of our world! Let us know ASAP if you would like to be a part of this team!

We agree with an old proverb: when a woman is touched, so is the nation. Arab children are more likely to hear about Jesus from their mothers than anyone else; women set the tone for homes and communities and can reach the heart of their husbands. It is crucial that Christian women be equipped to train others, who will touch others, which will transform individuals, families, and nations.

As we sing about Peace on Earth, Good will to men, let’s do something to bring that to pass.

Peace will come when Jesus reigns in the hearts of people. Join us in proclaiming His Peace in the Arab world!! “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men.” Luke 2:14 We hope you had a blessed celebration of the birth of our Savior! Blessings,Diane and John Crews

May the vision of God’s passion for the obedience of faith and for public justice in an unbelieving society sustain our passion until “justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24) from John Piper’s The Pleasures of God.
