Previously, if you had Jason windows or doors and you wanted security screens, they would be retrofitted to your frames and often required modification, which can result in unsightly, ill fitted security screens.

This is no longer the case, Jason Windows security screen range has been specifically designed to fit the Jasons range seamlessly and is available in Premium Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Mesh or Marine Grade Perforated Aluminium. The range includes:

Our premium security screens are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel woven mesh for ultimate security. The woven mesh is retained in the frame using PVC co-extrusion that is resistant to UV offering the highest level of corrosion resistance available.

Jasons Perforated Marine Grade Aluminium

Our perforated range of security screens are constructed from a single sheet of tempered marine grade perforated aluminium and retained in the frame using a unique bonding process for extra strength.

Triple Lock, One Flick System All Jason security screen doors have a triple lock, one flick system. With one flick three locking points are activated on the door giving you extra protection from the door being wrenched at the top or bottom by an intruder. All hinged doors have three fixed pin hinges that cannot be removed.

Clear Views Looking for unrestricted views? Then our 316 marine grade stainless steel security screens are perfect for areas of your home where you want a view of your garden or keep an eye on the children playing outside.

For areas of the home where clear views are not required, our Perforated Marine Grade Aluminium security screens provide a more restricted view.

BAL Rated The Australian Standards AS3959 have classified different bushfire intensity levels that a home, depending on location, may be exposed to in the event of a bushfire. These are called Bushfire Attack Levels (BAL). The Jason Windows range of 316 Stainless Steel Security Screens meet bush fire ratings up to and including BAL29.

Kids Can’t FlyIn 2013 the Australian Building Code ruled that all upper level windows now require opening restrictors to prevent the window being opened more than 100mm in an effort to prevent the growing number of children falling from double storey homes. All Jason security screens meet the building code requirements for upper storeys allowing full operation of your windows , not just to 100mm, and the flow of fresh air through your home whilst keeping the kids on the safe side.

Australian Standards & WarrantyAll Jason Security Screens are rigorously tested to ensure they meet relevant Australian and Industry Standards including:

• Security tested to AS5039-2008 / AS5041-2003

- Dynamic Impact Test - Determines the resistance of the security product to a specified level of attack in the form of impact energy. This test simulates an attacker kicking the screen.

- Jemmy Test - Determines the resistance of the security product to a specified level of attack with a lever force.

- Pull Test - Determines the resistance of the security product to a specified level of attack in the form of a pulling force.

- Knife Shear Test - Determines the resistance of the security mesh infill to a specified level of attack with a heavy duty trimming knife.

• Sliding Door Lock tested to AS4145.2-2008

• Fire Attenuation tested to AS1530.4-2005(App B7)
