WIS/ASRAOn course – with the right compass
WIS/ASRA – All the advantages at a glance
Always up-to-date and precise information for workshop orders in WISThe Workshop Information System (WIS) supplies all the technical descrip-tions and information that service employees need to perform maintenance and repair operations. It supplies data that is relevant to the workshop order. Current, precise information supports service employees in effi cient workfl ows and accurate order processing.
Reliable data for cost estimates in ASRAData retrieved with ASRA provides the foundation for precise cost estimates. This data is necessary for accurate invoicing. It helps service employees to fi nd the right operation items for service work. ASRA matches the damage codes to work operations and ensures a seamless chain of information. If an existing workshop order is modifi ed, ASRA supplies all necessary information to the service employee.
WIS/ASRA – the service employee‘s compass for correct maintenance and repairs based on high-quality information.
Flexible application options WIS and ASRA are two independent applications that can be ordered together or separately. As a standalone application, WIS comprises the modules
• WIS (Workshop Information System), • MSS (Maintenance Service System), • SSL (Damage Code List) and • WSM (WIS Service Media). Category- and model series-independent support with MSS The MSS module assists with vehicle main-tenance across all categories and model series with features such as the quick, easy creation of service sheets. If WIS is operated in combination with ASRA, operation texts, standard texts, fl at rates and work units are fully integrated and available through the ASRA module.

■ 1. Vehicle identification Vehicle identification builds the basis for successful searches for docu-ments and maintenance scopes. The vehicle context is always visible. When a complete vehicle identification number (VIN) is entered, the vehicle data card is accessed and the vehicle type, vehicle model designation, engine model designation and major assembly model designation are entered automatically.
■ 2. Module barThe modules are shown in the module bar on the left. With one click the user can switch between the modules WIS, MSS, SSL and ASRA or call up WSM directly.

■ 3. Control bar An additional control – the control bar – defines criteria for efficient system operation. Search criteria must be defined before a search, for example, in order for the search to be run. Improved user prompts lead to faster search results.
■ 4. Standard functions Standard functions exist for all modules. They make it possible to perform tasks such as displaying the data card, deleting the current search and vehicle context, showing the search context, opening the online help, and creating feedback. ■ 5. Content section This section offers plenty of space, especially for displaying documents. Controls are clearly arranged in a bar.
