Entering and Exiting Advanced Programming Mode (APM)To Enter APM (from Normal Mode):Simultaneouslyholdthetopandbottombuttonofthecolumnfor30seconds(ifitisasinglebutton[1B]column,holdthesinglebuttonfor60seconds).Oncetheholdtimeelapses,thestatusLEDsinthatcolumnwillallblinkrapidlytoindicatethatthecolumnisinAPMandallbacklightLEDsofthatcolumnwillbesolidon.Youmaynowreleasetheheldbuttons.
To Exit APM:Simultaneouslyholdthetopandbottombuttonofthecolumnfor3seconds(ifitisa1Bcolumn,holdthesinglebuttonfor10seconds).Oncetheholdtimeelapses,allstatusLEDsandbacklightLEDswillreturntotheirappropriatesettingsinNormalMode.Note:APMwilltimeoutafter10minutesandwillreturntoNormalMode.

Changing Wallstation Button ColumnsNote:SomewallstationmodelsshipfromLutronwithcertainbuttonsdisabled(i.e.Europeanstyle
wallstationswithspacesbetweenthebuttons).Ifbuttonsaredisabledonawallstation,theymustfirstbeenabledbeforetheycanbeaddedtonewcolumns.PleaseseesectionD“Enablingordisablingabutton,backlightLED,and/orstatusLED”onpage6.
Functionality:To change the number of buttons in a column:
1. Holddownthetopandbottombuttonsofthenewcolumnyouwishtocreatefor30seconds. (Ifcreatingaonebuttoncolumn,holddowntheappropriatebuttonfor60seconds)
2. Oncetheholdtimeelapses,thestatusLEDsofthenewlycreatedcolumnwillblinksimultaneously.ThisputsthenewlycreatedcolumnintoAPM.
3. ToexitAPM,holdthetopandbottombuttonsofthenewcolumnfor3seconds(ifitisa1Bcolumn,holdthesinglebuttonfor10seconds).
4. Oncetheholdtimeelapses,thewallstationwillreturntoNormalMode.
To create more than one column on a wallstation: • Uptofourseparateandindependentlyfunctioningcolumnsonawallstationcanbecreatedby
usingthesamestepsabovebutwithunusedbuttons. • Wallstationcolumnscannotoverlap. • Eachcolumncreatedcanbeprogrammedwithitsowncolumntype,beassociatedtodifferent
areasordevices,etc.asifitwereitsownindividualwallstation. • Awallstationcanbedividedintonomorethanfourcolumns.Onebutton(1B)columnsareallowed.
Ex.A10button(10B)wallstationcanbemodifiedtohavetwo5button(5B)columns;OnecolumncanbeascenetypethatisassociatedtoArea1ofaGrAFIkEyeRQScontrolunitandtheothercanbeashadetypeassociatedtoagroupofLutronRSivoiaRQSshades/draperies.

Functionality:UponenteringACM,allstatusLEDswillblipinunisontoindicatethatthewallstationisinACM.ThisinitialblipofallstatusLEDsistheACMDefaultModewhereeachbuttonisunaffecteduntilpressed.Onceabuttonispressed,itwillacquirethefunctionsshowninthetablebelowandwillnotreturntotheunaffectedDefaultModeuntilyouenterACMagain.

Scene Type (with OFF): Controlsscenesonascenecontroller(suchasaGrafikEyeRQScontrolunit,oranareaonanEnergiSavrNodeTunit)ormultiplescenecontrollers.Allbuttonsinthecolumnwillalwayscontrolthesamescenecontrollers(youcannothavedifferentbuttonswithinthecolumncontrollingdifferentscenecontrollers).Thescenerecalledbythefirstbuttonisprogrammable,thesubsequentbuttonsrecallthenextnumericalscene,andthelastbuttonalwaysrecallsSceneOFF.
Ex.A5-button(5B)columnwiththiscolumntypesettostartatScene3wouldrecallScenes3,4,5,6,andOFFrespectively.

Partition Type:Allowstheusertoassignindividualbuttonsofacolumntodifferentscenecontrollers(GrAFIkEyeRQScontrolunitand/orEnergiSavrNodeT unitareas).Whenabuttonispressedonthewallstation,theLEDislitonthewallstationforthatbutton,andthepartitionisopen.Whenitispressedagain,theLEDisOFFforthatbutton,andthepartitionisclosed.Anopenpartitionmakesthedevicesprogrammedtothatbuttontalktoeachotherinbothdirections.Aclosedpartitionmakesthedevicesnottalktoeachotherineitherdirection.

Shade Type:Inshadetype,thetopbuttonofacolumnbecomestheOpenbuttonandthebottombuttonbecomestheClosebuttonfortheassociatedLutronRSivoiaRQSshades/draperiesorthirdpartyACshades.Ifthewallstationhasmorethantwobuttons,themiddlebuttonsbetweenOpenandCloseserveasprogrammablepresetbuttonsforLutronRSivoiaRQSshades/draperies,or“stop”buttonsforthirdpartyACshades.
Shade Group Type: Ashadegroupcolumncanonlyexistonamulti-columnwallstation,whereoneoftheothercolumnsisashadecolumn.Theshadegroupcolumnwillmaketheshadecolumnappeartooperateasmultipleindependentwallstations(oneindependentwallstationpergroup).Thepurposeoftheshadegroupcolumnistoselectwhichoftheindependentwallstationsiscurrentlyactive(onegroupisalwaysactive;namelythegroupbuttonwhoseLEDison).Ex.Ifashadegroupcolumnhas3buttons,theshadecolumnwilloperateas3independentshade

Programming lockout
Functionality:To enable programming lockout mode:
1. Simultaneouslypressandhold“raise”,“Lower”,andanyactivebuttonfor30seconds.
2. Oncetheholdtimeelapses,allstatusLEDswilllightinasequentialflashofstatusLEDsfromthebottomtotopofthewallstation,indicatingthattheuserhaslockedoutofprogrammingmode.(Thissequenceofflashesisknownasareversewaterfall).
3. Then,allstatusLEDsandbacklightLEDswillreturntotheirappropriatesettingsinNormalMode.Note: Eachtimetheuserattemptstoenteraprogrammingmodeafterlockingoutofprogramming
mode,allstatusLEDswilllightinasequentialflashofstatusLEDsfromthebottomtotopofthewallstationindicatingthatallprogrammingislockedout.
To disable programming lockout mode:1. Simultaneouslypressandhold“raise”,“lower”,andanybuttonofthecolumninAPMforthe
30 seconds.2. Oncetheholdtimeelapses,allstatusLEDswilllightinasequentialflashofstatusLEDsfrom
thebottomtotopofthewallstation(reversewaterfall),indicatingthattheuserhasremovedtheprogramminglockout.
