WINTER AND WET WEATHERThe most crucial step in producing Bisley Workwear’s new jacket range, came over 18 months ago when we started developing the technical fabrics we use. Our designers were then challenged to turn these hi tech fabrics into functional garments suitable to be used across a wide range of work environments. Ensuring that our fabrics meet the highest of standards and then designing jackets that are highly functional and on trend, guarantees that you’ll be satisfied with both their comfort, styling and their ability to protect you from the elements.

Australia and New Zealand have some of the most diverse and harsh climates in the world. Our winter and wet weather gear is developed to protect you in these harsh climates. We are confident that our products will not only stand up to these harsh conditions but keep you warm and dry. We’ve got you covered.

SHOWERPROOF

COLD WEATHERGarments designed to keep you warm in cold weather.

WATERPROOFWaterproof membrane is added to the reverse side of rainwear fabrics to ensure that no water can penetrate from outside, keeping you dry in wet weather. Garments are fully seam sealed to prevent water leaking through seams. AS 2001.2.17-1987

SHOWERPROOFResistant to light rain. Fabric is either treated with an outer coat finish or a waterproof membrane is added to the reverse side of rainwear fabrics. Generally if a garment repels liquid on the outside and is not fully seam sealed on the inside, it is also categorised as showerproof.

BREATHABLEFabric is breathable or the garment is designed with ventilation.

STATIC CONTROLCertain natural fibres do not attract static electricity (static neutral) and therefore reduce the risk of an electric shock to the body. 100% Cotton is the most common static control in garments. AS/NZS 1020:1995

TTMCBisley Safetywear garments comply with NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) code of practice (CoPTTM) Temporary Traffic Management Control - Wet (TTMC-W). This code of Practice specifies the standard of safety garments that a worker must wear while working in or close to hazardous traffic areas.

3MBisley Safetywear utilise 3m reflective tape with patented retroflection technology in 99% of the Hi Vis range. AS/NZS 1906.4:2010

HIGH VISIBILITY MATERIALBisley Safetywear High Visibility garments are developed to be seen in high-risk environments and protect you from work place hazards. AS/NZS 1906.4:2010

SUN PROTECTIONThe ultraviolet radiation transmitted through a fabric to the skin is measured and given a rating of 15 (good protection), 30 (very good protection) 40 to 50+ (excellent protection). AS/NZS 4399:1996

HI-VIS NIGHT ONLYNight (N) Only garments are developed to be worn during the night time only as the retroreflective taping offers visibility from vehicle headlights. AS/NZS 4602.1:2011

HI-VIS DAY ONLYDay (D) Only garments are developed to be worn during the day time only and never at night. Hi-Vis colours are used to ensure you’re seen in high-risk environments. AS/NZS 4602.1:2011

HI-VIS DAY OR NIGHTDay/ Night (D/N) garments are developed to be worn both during the day and also at night. Hi-Vis colours accompanied with retroreflective taping offer maximum protection. AS/NZS 4602.1:2011
