SANGIOVESE BIANCO

A first for any Indian wine brand, Fratelli unfolds the craftsmanship of Piero Masi, creator Fratelli Wines, with this offering. Grown on sandy and rocky soils, the Sangiovese grapes are strategically planted to avoid overexposure to the sun. Such a practice imparts delicate yet refined aromas of coconut and bougainvilleas.

On the palate, hints of vanilla and violets along with a light body characterize this rare white wine.

The Sangiovese Bianco is a unique proposition from the house of Fratelli.

SANGIOVESE

Made in traditional Tuscan way, our vineyards at Akluj provide perfect growing conditions for the Sangiovese grape. The grapes for this wine were gathered from our vineyard at Motewadi which has a rocky soil structure.

The wine has a light but elegant oaky nose while the palate offers a perfect fusion of acidity (characteristic of Sangiovese) with a natural impression of sweetness and elegant tannins. A long finish with a good persistency makes this a well-balanced wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for a couple of years.

The wine is a signature style of our winemaker who brings out the best in this classic Italian grape through his numerous years of expertise.

SETTE

SETTE 2010 is a premium vintage from the house of Fratelli. The signature blend of legendary wine maker Piero Masi, SETTE is a barrel-aged red wine matured in French oak for 14 months. The top 1 % of the grapes from Fratelli’s estate owned vineyard at Akluj, Maharashtra, are handpicked by Piero and his team and goes into this delightful wine.

The current vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese.

The pleasant and refined notes of wood are well merged with the wine, adding to SETTE a balanced vanilla flavor, silky tannins and a vibrant finish.

SETTE 2010 was the only Indian wine to be awarded a ‘Silver Medal’ at the first ever Decanter Asia Wine Awards 2013, Asia's largest wine competition.

SANTO

SANTO is a late-harvest, sweet wine made from select Chenin Blanc grapes that have been purposely left on our vines for an extra two months post the harvest. This practice lets the grapes to shrivel and ultimately achieve a high concentration of sugar and flavors along with desired acidity levels. 4 kilograms of these rich, flavor packed Chenin Blanc grapes go into making a single bottle of SANTO with a total of only 1000 bottles produced in select vintages.

The wine offers exquisite nutty notes on the nose with distinguishing honey, apricot and citrus aromas. On the palate, SANTO shows the perfect balance of acidity and sugar that are well fused together owing to 24 months of ageing in oak barrels.

With only 1000 bottles made in favourable vintages, SANTO is a collector's elixir that can be cellared for up to two decades.
