Preps• Buy the wine (I had 4 white, 6 red)• Write the grape types in the lists (1st slide). Add a few other

grape types to the lists.• Include the wine regions in the map. Add a few more

wineregions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wine-producing_regions

• Make a separate list with hints (only available to game leader) about the wine regions from which the bought wines originate.

• Number the hints and the wines. Hide the labels on the wine bottles.

• Make prints of the first slide of this presentation.• Bring white bread/baguette and water (to clean glasses and

to drink) to occasion.

Rules of the game• Different rounds, one wine per round.• Game leader, after each round, tells the hint for the specific

wine.• Participants write down the grape and the region (not the

country).• After the last round, pass your list to your neighbour. • Game leader repeats all hints, the name of the wine, and

tells about grape and region.• Each good answer is one point, so for instance; grape type

is good, region is wrong one point.– If there is a wine with multiple grapes, the game leader should

mention that, and point are given to each good grape type, and negative points for each wrong grape type (only for a mix)
