First, I know we have had a newsletter previously but now, it is our sincerest hope that this will become a monthly tradition. We want to let our members and the general public know what is happening downtown and to that end, we plan to regularly highlight one or two members as well as let folks know about upcoming events, new openings and other items of interest. If you have thoughts or suggestions for future editions, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Second, it is our plan to better engage our members and therefore, we plan to have a series of breakfast meetings in the fall with l O members at each to get your feedback as to how we can better serve you and, at the same time, improve our downtown. If you want to be included in one of those breakfast meetings, please let me know. Dates and locations will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Third, don't forget all the exciting stuff happening in July including the weekly Show and Shine, the Durham Craft Beer Festival on July 8th, our Wine Festival on July 13th, the free bbq at The General on July 7th and Momma Mia all month long at the Regent Theatre.
