BUITENVERWACHTING CHRISTINE 2011 (****½ Platter) Constantia (ABV 14.5%) 525 This Bordeaux style blend consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The wine offers rich red fruit characters reminiscent of ripe cherry and blackcurrant with dark chocolate and tobacco undertones.
PAUL CLUVER SEVEN FLAGS PINOT NOIR 2014 (****½ Platter) Elgin (ABV 14%) 765 The colour has a wonderful luminosity, reminiscent of ripe cherries. The nose holds a combination of red berry, spice, mushrooms and dark chocolate. The palate is a continuation of all found on the nose.
VILAFONTE SERIES M 2012 (****½ Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14.5%) 745 Merlot and Malbec blend offering a smorgasbord of red fruit characters, including plums, dark cherry preserves and dried cranberries.
VERGELEGEN V 2011 (****½ Platter) Helderberg (ABV 14.5%) 1 450 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was matured in oak for 21 months, followed by 24 months in bottle before release.

BOTTLEITALIAN RESERVE SELECTION GAJA SITO MORESCO 2014 (Wine Advocate Rating 94) Piedmont - Langhe DOC (ABV 14%) 750 The cool weather trend of 2014 led to a perfect ripening of all three varieties of the blend. In particular, it has helped the balanced expression of the early-ripening Merlot. The nose is clean, with pure aromas of white pepper, flowers and wild herbs. On the palate the notes of red cherry and mulberry are sharp and pure, sustained by balanced acidity and juiciness. The tannins are silky and refreshing. CA'MARCANDA PROMIS 2015 (Wine Advocate Rating 92) Toscana IGT (Super Tuscan) (ABV 13.5%) 650 A delightful wine that combines elegance and suppleness of Merlot and Syrah with the austerity of Sangiovese. Balanced and approachable. ANGELO GAJA - BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO - 2012 950 (Wine Advocate Rating 94) Tuscany DOCG (ABV 15%) The Brunello 2012 shows a deep garnet colour. The bouquet features layered notes of spices and balsamic herbs such as anise, clove, juniper and mugwort. In a second moment the fruit opens up with notes of black cherry and ripe plum. Final hints of hazelnut and fresh almond. The palate shows dense savoury notes of tar refreshed by precise and sweet tannins.
MCC L'ORMARINS BRUT CLASSIQUE NV MCC (***½ Platter) Franschhoek (ABV 12%) 80 240 Elegant, fresh and lively, this wine is rich in minerality. Hints of brioche, citrus and framboise. Chardonnay yields a fresh lime character, accentuated by the high natural acidity and the Pinot Noir provides some perfume notes.
CHENIN BLANC ANTHONIJ RUPERT PROTEA 2017 (*** Platter) Franschhoek (ABV 13%) 40 120 The nose offers up some nectarine and green apricot whiffs along with a light pear note. The palate is refreshingly lively and vibrant with ample stone fruit and lemon flavour.
CEDERBERG 2016 (***½ Platter) Cederberg (ABV 13%) 180 This Chenin Blanc offers beautiful layers of melon, grapefruit and fleshy white pear.
DONKIESBAAI STEEN 2016 (****½ Platter) Donkiesbaai (ABV 14.5%) 385 Tropical aromas of peaches, apricots and pineapple are well supported by fresh lime and melon notes that add a fantastic complexity to this multilayered nose.

DELAIRE GRAFF 2017 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 13.8%) 165 A classic maritime Sauvignon Blanc, this wine reveals aromas of cut grass, asparagus and hints of citrus tropical fruit. Discover a multilayered, mouthfeel, crisp vibrancy with flavours of Cape gooseberry and zesty fruit with a mineral finish.
HIDDEN VALLEY 2017 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14%) 210 Subtle aromas of tropical fruit, a delicate palate layer with guava, lime and a wonderful minerality.
DE GRENDEL 2017 (**** Platter) Coastal (ABV 14%) 210 This wine has a bright green hue and abundant tropical fruit flavours of passion fruit, grapefruit and guava on the nose.
CAPE POINT VINEYARDS RESERVE 2016 (****½ Platter) Cape Point (ABV 13.5%) 295 The nose shows delicate floral elements, grapefruit, stone fruit and limes along with subtle wood spice. This all follows to a rich, textured palate all held together by an incredible mineral backbone.
GHOST CORNER WILD FERMENT 2016 (****½ Platter) Elim (ABV 13%) 380 A unique Sauvignon Blanc that cannot be compared to any other. Powerful concentrated layers of green figs and gooseberries, with a touch of grapefruit, fynbos and a steely minerality on the palate. A reflection of the cool maritime climate of Elim where the grapes are sourced.
CHARDONNAY DE WETSHOF LIMESTONE HILL 2017 (***½ Platter) Robertson (ABV 14%) 175 Heavy clay soils rich in limestone allow this Chardonnay to emit optimum varietal expression in a cloak of rich complexity. An unwooded wine, Limestone Hill has notes of grapefruit and nuts, with the complexity balanced by a nuanced elegance ending with a delicate ripeness.
STELLENBOSCH RESERVE MOEDERKERK 2015 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 13%) 245 Aromas of fresh citrus, lime and hints of lemon zest come to the fore, with elegant pineapple notes that support the initial tropical impression.
CREATION 2016 (****½ Platter) Hemel en Aarde (ABV 14%) 315 Straw yellow with attractive glints of green. On the nose, glorious layers of sun-kissed pear and peach are enhanced by fresh minerality and a hint of piquant vanilla.
TOKARA RESERVE 2015 (****½ Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14%) 335 The wine has a vibrant golden straw colour. The nose has intense aromas of lemon blossom, citrus preserve and ripe yellow fruits. The subtle oaking is evident by hints of roasted almonds and fresh toast.

CEDERBERG 2015 (**** Platter) Cederberg (ABV 14%) 295 High altitude Cabernet vineyards that have a longer ripening period give rise to this phenomenal wine. Loads of blackcurrants with cedar wood undertones on the nose with a hint of smokiness and tobacco leaf, creating a complex wine.
EDGEBASTON 2013 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 15%) 260 A fresh, minty herbaceousness backed by mocca vanilla oak. Firm structured tannins and a long finish on the palate.
MEINERT 2013 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14.5%) 275 Dense, deep, fresh red colour. The nose shows red berries, typical Cabernet herbs, spicy toasty oak and tobacco. Mouth-filling and weighty but not clumsy on the palate, finishes crisp and lingering.

Blackcurrants and raspberries, a hint of violets, with the French oak well-balanced to allow the fruit to shine. It shows nutmeg, vanilla, and white pepper perfume, and finishes with just enough grip to promise good cellaring potential. THE STELLENBOSCH RESERVE KWEEKSKOOL 2015 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14.5%) 225 A full-bodied, plush and juicy, well-balanced Merlot that pays tribute to the oldest Seminary for Dutch Reformed ministers at the Faculty of Theology in Stellenbosch, called the 'Kweekskool'. The supple texture and ample ripe plum, mulberry and black cherry character is etched with well-integrated oak spice and supported by a sleek, smooth finish.

LA MOTTE 2013 (****½ Platter) Franschhoek (ABV 14%) 305 Years of experience in producing this variety have enabled La Motte to combine the grapes of a number of cool terroirs to capture juicy berry-fruit, sweet liquorice, violet flowers and pepper spice. Traditionally a very bold variety, this rewarding Shiraz has been refined into a medium-bodied, highly accessible wine.

This Pinot Noir shows ripe, fresh raspberry, strawberry and vanilla notes on the nose. The palate has a touch of minerality and earthiness layered below the fresh, clean fruit.

TERRA DEL CAPO SANGIOVESE 2016 (***½ Platter) Franschhoek (ABV 13%) 170 Nose of sour cherry and blackberries with wood shavings and a light spice edge makes for ample appeal. The same spicy cherry and succulent plum are found in the mouth - but with a lightness of touch. Vibrant and lively nutmeg and cinnamon add spice highlights to the mix, along with a touch of tobacco leaf.
DELAIRE GRAFF BOTMASKOP 2015 (****½ Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14.7%) 275 Powerful, yet elegant and polished. A red blend with classic aromas of dark berry fruit, spice and cassis. The softness of tannins and balance in structure complete this wine on the palate.
GROOT CONSTANTIA ROOD 2015 (**** Platter) Constantia (ABV 13.5%) 225 The wide range of grape varieties used in this Cape Blend gives the wine amazing complexity. The flavours range from aromatic mint and black pepper to red cherries and strawberries on the nose, all framed by the careful use of French oak barrels.

VREDE EN LUST BOET ERASMUS 2012 (**** Platter) Franschhoek (ABV 14%) 440 Dominant flavours of berry aromas, followed by pencil shavings and cedar on the nose. Layers of flavours with clean lines. A wonderful balance between the elegance of the wine and the ripeness of the fruit.
GUARDIAN PEAK SUMMIT SMG 2014 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 14.5%) 340 The beautiful bouquet of violet and blueberry, infused with a hint of rich plum, combined with the delicate oak notes with subtle lavender aromas, creates a wine with a complex, intriguing nose. The rich red fruit flavours follow through from the nose onto the palate. This full-bodied wine has a juicy, creamy entry with soft, round tannins and a long, lingering finish.

BOTTLEDESSERT WINES GLEN CARLOU THE WELDER 2015 (***½ Platter) Paarl (ABV 10.5%) 155 A delicate pale lemon colour with tints of gold. On the nose there are bright notes of citrus and pear with touches of apricot and marmalade. The palate displays tinned peaches and baked pineapple. Crisp acidity on the long finish perfectly balances the sweetness. This wine is still young and will benefit from ageing.
THELEMA SEMILLON NOBLE LATE HARVEST 2014 (**** Platter) Stellenbosch (ABV 10%) 250 A light golden dessert wine with very typical Semillon characters of honey blossom, citrus and crème brûlée on the nose. The wine shows a wonderful balance of apricots, honey and sweet citrus on the palate.
PAUL CLUVER NLH 2014 (****½ Platter) Elgin (ABV 10.5%) 350 A very expressive nose, with apricot and pineapple aromas dominating. Soft cardamom pod fragrances and orange blossom are noticeable too. All these characteristics follow through onto the luscious, creamy palate which finishes clean.
Inspired by the original Margherita recipe
from Naples, Italy, our hand-pressed pizzas are
crafted from hand-kneaded dough, mozzarella
cheese, basil and olive oil and then baked in a
wood-fired oven of exceptional heat for a very
short time. The result – a delicately light and crisp
base at the edges with a deliciously saucy centre.
While paying faithful homage to the original
Italian classics, we remain certain our Casa Bella
