The unique Rotary Lobe Pump with MIP!
Proven technology for the Wine Industry. So simple, so rugged, yet so gentle: Wine Industry Pump Technology from Börger.
The wine industry depends on robust and durable pumping systems yet desires that those pumps provide a gentle low
pulse conveying characteristic. The robust design of the Börger Rotary Lobe Pump has proven its durability within the
rigors of the world’s largest wineries; while the low shear, low pulse, pumping characteristic gently handles the fruit.
Exclusively BörgerMIP reduces downtime and life cycle costs.
Pomace Application | Large six-inch rotary lobe pumps
outfi tted with elastomer coated rotors are used to pump
pomace in several larger facilities. The rubber lobes allow the
pump to self-prime and the larger bore can pass the pomace
bettern than a smaller pump. Wine makers use a large Börger
Rotary Lobe Pumps for pumping our their red fermentors.
Filtration Pump | Every winery needs a fi ltration pump. The
Börger Rotary Lobe Pump is a versatile choice. Various fl ows
and pressures can be achieved, giving the highest level of
fl exibility. The Optimum Rotor is an excellent selection for the
fi ltration applications due to its high pressure stability.

Must Pump | A winery was experiencing dry run problem
with a progressive cavity pump operating in a must application.
Since in the front end of the wineries often large pumping
units including auger feed systems are used, reliability and
fast maintainability with minimal life cycle cost is key. With
the Börger MIP Design all fl uid wetted parts can be cost
effectively and quickly exchanged onsite by your own staff.
Press Sump Juice | For juice transfer applications, the
compact design of the Rotary Lobe Pump helps keep space
requirements to a minimum for the often large transfer
fl ows from the press to the tanks. Also important is gentle
handling, one of the main characteristics of the Börger
Rotary Lobe Pump.

• Complete fl uid end renewal can be achieved in place. Stop dragging pump bodies into the shop or sending them out for machining!
• Complete fl uid end lining system insures the pump casing is never a repair component.
• Replaceable lobe tips available on larger models allow for smaller repair component.
• Proven component mechanical seal.
