What is Augmented Reality ?

•A combination of a real scene viewed by a user and a virtual scene generated by a computer that augments the scene with additional Information.

Window Shopper

About Window Shopper When in a shopping mall, there are two major questions:

•Where is a certain outlet/ store located in the mall ?

•What discounts, promotion and variety exists currently in a certain store ?

How it will work : Goal 1 To provide navigation through the mall by pin pointing the location of the User by hovering the camera on to the nearest store.

How it will work : Goal 2 To view other information of the outlet, that would include promotions, discounts and new arrivals.

Features of JavaCV•JavaCV uses wrappers from the JavaCPP Presets of commonly used libraries by researchers in the field of computer vision (OpenCV, FFmpeg, libdc1394 etc), and provides utility classes to make their functionality easier to use on the Java platform, including Android.

•JavaCV also comes with hardware accelerated full-screen image display (CanvasFrame and GLCanvasFrame), easy-to-use methods to execute code in parallel on multiple cores (Parallel), user-friendly geometric and color calibration of cameras and projectors (GeometricCalibrator, ProCamGeometricCalibrator, ProCamColorCalibrator), detection and matching of feature points (ObjectFinder)
