4 Join the All 4 Each movement – & get a chance to win!
For too long, learning about
co‑operatives has been left
off the agenda in our school
system. Most teachers
are unaware of the co‑op
business enterprise model
and, until now, didn’t have an
educational resource at their
disposal.
With the publication of the
All 4 Each highschool unit,
we are providing an ideal
tool to teach the co‑operative
model in high schools across
Ontario. The response to this
resource has already been
phenomenal — and IYC 2012
is the year to capitalize!
Organizations can help by
making or co‑ordinating
presentations of All 4 Each
with your local schools, or by
following the lead of other
co‑ops and credit unions in
sponsoring the printing of
teacher resource copies.
Got a camera? Get it out.If you’re 25 years or younger, you could win up to $5,000 in the All 4 Each Create-A-Co-op Video Challenge. This contest closes on June 1st, 2012, so visit www.s.coop/all4eachfacebook for more details, and post your new co-op pitch ASAP!

Lead. Cultivate. Connect.
To Shoshannah Seefieldt and Sopearin Yos, whose fantastic work as Education Co-ordinator and CYL Program Co-ordinator (respectively) helped greatly in making the the 2011 CYL program so successful.
Thanks Denyse!A bittersweet, but enormous thank you must be extended to Denyse Guy, On Co‑op’s former Executive Director, who stepped into the role as Executive Director of the Canadian Co‑operative Association earlier this year.
Denyse’s passion for co‑operative education, and her amazing commitment to providing our youth with an engaging and accepting place to grow are what made CYL the life‑changing program that it is today. All who have been touched and transformed by CYL are indebted to Denyse’s determined work.
On Co‑op’s loss is Canada’s gain, as Denyse will now be taking her dynamic vision to the national level!
The International Year of Co-operativesOn January 1, 2012, the world began celebrating IYC 2012: the International Year of Co‑operatives. IYC is an opportunity to celebrate, develop, and promote co‑ops around the world, and to let people know about the great things co‑ops are doing and will do in the future.
IYC is an opportunity for the entire co‑operative movement to take one huge step forward … and young people are leading the charge.
This is the year to involve youth in your organization in a meaningful way.
