EAGL quadriART 2013 Kunst rund um ein unterschätztes Format vom 2. Februar bis 22. März 2013 in der EAGL gallery
Das Quadrat hat eine ganz eigene Gestalt: einerseits gilt es als klassische geometrische Grundform, andererseits sind TV-Geräte nie quadratisch gewesen, im Gegenteil... sie werden immer un-quadratischer... Und ob-wohl dem „gleichseitigen Viereck“ eine ge-wisse Langweiligkeit nachgesagt wird, ist es im Gegenteil künstlerisch eine enorm span-nende und herausfordernde Aufgabe!
Was 70 internationale Künstler aus Japan, Kanada, USA, Kolumbien, Russland, Groß-britannien, Brasilien, Belgien, Slowenien, Spanien, Österreich und natürlich auch quer aus Deutschland daraus gemacht haben, zeigt die EAGL gallery in Charlottenburg vom 2. Februar bis 22. März 2013 - nach dem großen Erfolg 2012 - nun zum 2. Mal in der Kantstr. 87a in 10627 Berlin.
Aus rund 200 Bewerbungen hat die Jury die originellsten ausgewählt und präsentiert sie in 3 Galerie-Räumen verteilt - aus vielen vie-len vielen kleineren quadratischen Einzel-werken unterschiedlichster Materialien

The square has an unique shape: on one hand it is a classic geometric type, on the other hand TVs never has been quadratically, quite the contrary... they get more and more non-quadratically... And although the „equilateral triangle“ is rumoured a certain dullness, ar-tistically seen it´s actually a fascinating and challenging task!
What 70 international artists from Japan, Canada, USA, Columbia, Russia, Great Britain, Brasil, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain, Austria and of course across Germany did with it, shows the EAGL gallery in Charlottenburg from 2 Fe-buary til 22 March 2013 – after a huge success 2012 - now for the 2nd time in Kanstraße 87a, 10627 Berlin.
From about 200 applications the Jury selected the most fancy ones and display them distrib-uted in 3 gallery rooms – many many many quadratic solo-works of different kinds of ma-terials and techniques, even in 3D, become an impressive panopticon of artworks, for which most of the solo-works were especially

created. This only exists at EAGL gallery in that way!
And as varied the nations and styles of the art-ists are, as varied are also the prizes, which are not as usual in other galleries set by the gallery owner, but determined by the artists them-selves.
So the EAGL gallery has something for each flavour. Whether made by a self-taught or master student, at this exhibition everyone can afford an original artwork and from which gallery do you know that?
For those who would like to convince them-selves about the wide range of works at EAGL quadriART 2013 with great live music and in-vigorating drinks is of course welcome to visit our events on 2 February and 22 March 2013 from 7 pm...
About the prices: all prices are determined by the artists themselves. Prices (below 100 Euro) with the friendly * can be raised by the buyers freely.
und Techniken, sogar in 3D, entsteht ein be-eindruckendes Pan-Optikum von Bildern, die meist eigens dafür geschaffen wurden. Das gibt es so nur in der EAGL gallery!
Und so bunt gemischt die Nationen und Sti-le der Künstler sind, so gemischt sind auch die Preise, die, nicht wie in anderen Galerien üblich von den Galeristen, sondern von den Künstlern selber bestimmt werden.
Bei der EAGL quadriART ist also für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ob von einem Au-todidakten oder Meisterschüler, bei dieser Ausstellung kann sich jeder ein Original- Kunstwerk leisten und in welcher Galerie gibt es das schon?
Und wer sich von dem breiten Angebot an Kunstwerken der EAGL quadriART 2013 zu schöner Live Musik und belebenden Geträn-ken selber überzeugen möchte, ist natürlich herzlich zu unseren Veranstaltungen am 02. Februar und 22. März 2013 ab 19 Uhr einge-laden...
Über die Preise: alle Preise sind von den Kün-stler/innen selber festgelegt. Die Preise (un-ter 100 Euro) mit dem netten * können vom Käufer/in selber beliebig erhöht werden.

At 8 pm PETRA, a singer and guitar player, performs her program which is already estab-lished in accompany to exhibitions and read-ings. Her solo-performance includes a mix of mostly known jazz and swing standards, like “Makin´Whoopee”, “Fly me to the moon”, “Fe-ver”, and is added by popular Latin songs like “The Girl From Ipanema”, “Corcovado” and “Sunny” (original text is sung partly in Portu-guese).
Um 20 Uhr tritt die Sängerin und Gitarris-tin PETRA auf. Ihre Solo-Performance, die sich bereits vielfach in der Begleitung von Kunstausstellungen und Lesungen bewährt hat, umfasst eine bunte Mischung zumeist bekannter Jazz- und Swingstandards, wie z.B. “Makin´Whoopee”, “Fly me to the moon”, “Fever” und wird durch ebensolche populä-ren Latinsongs wie “The girl from Ipanema”, “Corcovado”, “Sunny” (z. T. in portugiesi-schem Originaltext gesungen) ergänzt.
