Manager of Smart Grid Projects and Asset Management January 2016 – PresentS&C Electric Company Promoted to integrate front-end application development and proposal processes into the overall execution of Smart Grid

Automation projects as well as bridge in the Asset Management monitoring and maintenance contracts. This allowed a single process owner to have the overall accountability of delivering an entire project/product life cycle.

Manager of Automation Products and Service Proposals, Project Management and Asset Management. (Automation Products, Traditional Field Services, Automation Field Services, Retro-fits, Asset Management - (Warranty, Extended Warranty Parts & Labor, Monitoring & Maintenance Contracts)

Areas of concentration: Automation/Smart Grid, Field Service (Tradition & Automation), Automated Switchgear, Retro-fit of switchgear, system communication and networks, SCADA, power quality, warranty and product support.

Manager Duties: Responsible for the creation of project management initiatives through the improvement of processes and/or tools, which

Manager of Smart Grid Projects June 2013 – December 2015S&C Electric Company Manager of Smart Grid Projects, which consisted of over 60 smaller grouped projects ranging $50K - $500k per project. Manager Duties: Responsible for monitor and control processes, coordinating project timelines, assigning project responsibilities to

departmental team members, and provided project updates as needed to all stakeholders. Created and managed the implementation of new project tools and standards within the smart grid projects department. Developed individual team members and departmental metrics to establish clear visibility of the project status and

profitability of smart grid projects. Responsible for improving team member technical knowledge of S&C automated products and services. Established a new testing facility department for automated smart grid products and services to allow for full integrated

equipment system testing prior to shipment. Selected as a 4 step point level problem solving team leader for S&C Quality improvement initiatives specific to Remote

Supervisory Vista equipment for smart grid projects that included integrated services.

Manager of Project Management-(Channel Business Unit) & Field Service September 2010 - 2013SAI Advanced Power Solutions Was hired at SAI Advanced Power Solutions during their acquisition of the ASCO Modifications Group in Elmhurst, IL. Successful project management of all initiatives within the power generation, government, commercial and industrial and

hospital markets for projects ranging $100,000 to the multi-million dollar level. Manager Duties: Provide oversight for all project management initiatives; plan, monitor and control processes, coordinate project timelines,

assign responsibilities, and provide project updates as needed to all stakeholders. Team leader to identify, improve and develop the SAI Advanced Power Solutions Project Management Product Realization

Process. Establish SAI project management best practices, develop departmental project management process and measurable metrics, establish departmental business, personal and professional career goals for individual team members through the SAI yearly employee review process.

Develop departmental budgets for Project Management, Field Service and Test. Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasting projections to executive management.

Train and supervise 15 employees across three different departments Project Management, Field Service and Test. Assist sales team to identify opportunities while at customer sites. Developed quotes to provide retro-fit solutions, field

service options for start-up, commissioning and maintenance services. Project Manager Duties: Perform extensive review of project scope, collect project details, evaluate risk and develop a detailed project plan to meet

project deliverables. Responsible for managing all project stakeholders, attend job site meetings and travel to job sites to oversee construction

phases of the electrical equipment during the installation and startup of electrical equipment. Successfully manage multiple projects while achieving all project deliverables, maintaining budgets and controlling the

change management processes when required. Consistent history of meeting project objectives and completing deliverables on schedule and within budget to hold and/or

increase gross margin (30-45%GP). Strong ability to analyze project risk(s) and develop alternate project plans and/or solutions to achieve optimal project

outcomes. SAI Advanced Power Solutions designs and manufactures generator paralleling controls, UL 891 & 1558 switchgear &

switchboards. SAI is able to work with any engine/generator and/or switchgear manufacturers’ equipment to provide either new or retro-fit solutions for a complete power generation offering.

Switchgear rated 480V, 5KV-38 KV operation for standby emergency, peak shaving, export/cogeneration, base load; load demand, load shed/add.

SAI Advanced Power Solutions products are used in following industries: Hospitals, Data Centers, Federal & State government facilities, financial institutions, landfills, petroleum, utility, waste water treatment and etc.
