DESCRIPTION
How do we captivate our students and gain their full attention in the digital world? This session focuses on how we can move beyond traditional course resources (books, articles, videos, etc…) and enhance our instructional efforts by finding, choosing, and using interactive open educational resources to connect with our students and gain their full attention. Interactive learning materials (ILMs) allow us to further engage our students with hypermedia, decision-making activities, and learner assessment/feedback. This session will also explore how interactive OERs (tutorials, games, & simulations) can help motivate, as well as re-mediate gaps in student learning.TRANSCRIPT
