2)"How old are you?"

� I'm 15 years old � So am I

3)"Where do you study?"

� I study in Jabłonna. � I study in Burlada.

4)"Where are you from?"

� I am from Jablonna, in Poland. � I’m from Burlada, in Navarre, Spain.

5)"How do you spend your typical day at school?"

� I usually spend 7 hours a day at school. It isn't so boring when I spend this time with my classmates.

� I start the lessons at 8.30 in the morning, I finish at 2.30 in the afternoon and I have a little break at 11.15 until 11.45 when I have a sandwich.

6) "How many lessons do you usually have per day?"

� I usually have 7 lessons, from: 8.00 - 17.00. Between every two lessons are

breaks, which last from 5 to 20 minutes.

� I have six lessons every day and the most important are Language, Maths and Sciences.

7)"What are for you the best and the worst subjects?"

� The best subjects for me are Polish and English and the worst - Science.

� For me, the best subjects are English and Biology and the worst are Chemistry and Math.

8)"What do you do you like to do in your free time and with whom?"

� I like going out with my friends, playing basketball and shopping.

� In my free time I like going out with my friends, going to the bowling, to the cinema. In summer I like going to the swimming pool, and of course, shopping.

9)"What is your favorite sport?"

� My favorite sport is basketball. � My favorite sport... I don’t know, I do

Taekwondo but I also like swimming and playing badminton.

10) "What do you want to be in the future?"

� In the future I want to be a politician. � In the future I want to be a teacher of

English or study Psychology.

11)"What are your hobbies?? "

� I like taking photos, it's really my hobby. Everywhere I go I take my camera with me. I like reading too.

� I’m a mad about music, I like singing (I’m really singing ALL DAY LONG), painting and drawing, writing, and I love reading.

12)"What is your favorite music group or singer?"

� My favorite music group is U2. I am very keen on Bono and others! I love Queen, Aerosmith (the best group for me) and Polish Lady Pank

� My favorite group of music is "The Jonas Brothers", especially Nick Jonas, but I also listen to other groups and singers, like Lady Gaga, or Katy Perry.

13)"Can you describe yourself?"

� I am tall. I have long, dark, curly hair and green eyes. I'm talkative and an open person.

� I am tall, but not much, I have brown hair, nor long, nor short, in winter it gets darker than in summer, and I have big brown eyes. I’m talkative, extrovert, funny and hardworking and I like to listen to the others.

� Perfect ^^ (joke) I think that: "Marcelina" says everything.

� "Irati" says a lot but I think I am friendly and imaginative.

15) "What can you tell about the e-Twinning? What do you think about it?"

• It's great! I think it's better than usual lessons and we can learn more. And in addition we can get on well with Spanish colleagues.

• I really like it. I think that is a nice project and it is interesting to meet new people and more if they live in other country. To know about their culture and the way they see the world, it is fantastic. And now I think I have a lot of new friends, especially Marcelina who has been with me in this event.

16) "Would you like to come to Poland/Spain and know it??"

• Oh, yes. I would like to go to Spain and see everything about your town and meet all of you!

• Yeees I think that it could be great!! And I want to meet you in person!!

Marcelina and I are going to start talking about our hobbies. My hobbies are reading, singing, listening to music, going out with my friends, shopping, writing, doing sports... And I love drawing and painting. I think they are amazing. I also like to make pictures about nature, places, people... And when I do it, it's like being in a quiet place and sometimes listening to classical music. And you, Mar?? What about your hobbies?

My hobby's photography. I love it. When I see the object through the lenses I see more than we can usually only with our eyes. Everything becomes different- light, colours. Then one move can change everything. Too much light, a move too suddenly and the photo will be bad. And that's what I like about taking photos- it's unpredictable.

I like reading too. When I'm starting the "run between letters and words" I'm in different world. I like fantasy books but I am keen on other books too. I like Agatha Christie for example

Now we’re going to talk about our friends

In my friends’ group we’re 21 more or less, and we have been friends for a lot of years. My best friend is Irene. She’s 14 years old and she’s fantastic. I like so much to be with her, and we can talk about everything, and I love going shopping with her. We also have the same hobbies, and we are always together, and with Leire, that is the funniest girl I have ever met. When the three of us are together, everything is fun, and we laugh a lot, they are the best when you are sad, because they can always make you smile. I love them!!

And when we are the whole group, we like to go to the cinema, go shopping (only the girls, because the boys prefer to play football, although I’ll never understand it), go to the capital, Pamplona (we like so much Yamaguchi park in Pamplona) or just being talking in the street or in the park. When it’s sunny, and in summer we like a lot to go to the swimming pool, and have an ice-cream together. It’s great!!

MARINA PASCUAL interviews Leszek MARZ ĘCKI and tries to find out as much information as she can from and

about him.

Marina: Do you have any brothers or sisters?

Leszek: Yes, I have younger brother.

His name is Zbyszek. He is 12 years old. I don’t spend much time with him but I think it is the fault of the age difference. Zbyszek plays in football team Legionovia and he is a fan of FC Barcelona. What worries me is that he spends a lot of time on playing online games. But what can I do? Nothing... I'm from a generation which played in pokemon caps on playgrounds.

M: Do you have any pets?

Leszek: I like rodents. At present I have a merion (a mouse which can jump very high) and bojownik (eng. siamese fighting fish). I like them very much. Gustaw (merion) is very funny and it can do many tricks!!! It is a very sociable mouse. Gustaw likes to be stroked. The Fish (dit oesn't have na me) is very colorful. Many people say: Fish are boring.!! That is false!!! It is not true!!! I can play with my siamese fighter. How? For example: I get the mirror in front of the aquarium and that irritates him. In the near future I'm going to have a small dog or cat. I am thinking about a black and white cat or or Yorkshire terrier or a Chihuaha.

Marina: What is your favourite sport?

Leszek: Hmm... I'm not keen on sport very much, but I have a few favourite sports: handball -I was in a handball team when I

was younger-, ski jumping -it is our national sport-. Do you know Adam Małysz? I also like Formula One races. Robert Kubica is the first Polish driver in this league, this is great achievement because he comes from a country which has almost no roads and motor sports speedways: Also there are some motorbike sports, and other sports where Poles are the best, such as cross-country skiing and biathlon- I like them, because they show human determination I think that is all... No no no!!! I like STRONG MAN series. It is possible that you don't know, them, but the world`s strongest man comes from Poland. His name is Mariusz Pudzianowski. Now he is trying to make a career in fighting sports.

Marina: What is your favourite football team?

Leszek: As you can see in the last question I don't like football. The one thing I most dislike is Polish football (it's anti football). Generally football is boring for me. They run and run on a pitch and chrrrrr... Western football is much better than ours. Sometimes I watch on TV some Champion league matches. I think there are many good teams... Hm Fc Barcelona, FC Liverpool, The Reds, The Blues, Real Madrid, Ac Milan, Inter , Milan, Juve and many others... I don't know which is my favorite. I think all of them are special and fantastic.

Marina: What is your favourite subject at school?

Leszek: I know it is strange but I like all subjects. All of them are interesting to me. I think Science and Humanities subjects are very important and useful in life. We have a proverb in Poland: "ucz się, ucz, nauka to potęgi klucz". It means " you must learn, learn, because learning is the key to power/glory/might/ force" I'm going to respect this principle

Marina: Would you like to come to Spain?

Leszek: Sure, why not? I have read and heard a lot about your country. I think it is very interesting. In the future, when I have time (read: money) I will travel around Europe. Definitely I will visit Spain. I must remember a few things: oil tanning, camera and summer clothes. Oh!!! I should learn how to speak Spanish a little.

M: What kind of music do you like? And do you listen to music in Spanish?

Leszek: This is not as easy as it sounds. I'm quite different on this topic from most of my peers. I like many old musicians. I can't stand for example Beyonce, Gaga pussycat (<-- what a name!) dolls or things like that. In my opinion they don't deserve a name as "singers". This is my opinion and only mine. Everyone can have their own opinions on this topic. What kind of music do I prefer? Mm… Everything without hip hop (rap), because I have had bad experiences with it. I think Polish and American rap are mostly only about ..., you know , vulgarity, drugs, arrogance etc. In Poland stupid rappers teach youth hatred to the police and many other embarrassing and tragic things. Ok, ok sorry I have written about what I hate in music. Now I tell you about those I like: My favourite singers are:

- Michael Jackson (Don’t worry; I liked him for many years, but not the Michael Jackson he had become when he died, when he became fashionable. He was a wonderful person. I am very sorry that the tabloids and mean people, who were eager only about his money, led him to his death. - Elvis Presley (Rock and Roll and it’s all) - Freddy Mercury and Elton John - the essence of rock

- I respect The Beatles very much, their songs made a great job fall over the world.

But let me tell you about who I really care.

Exactly 200 years ago in Zelazowa Wola, near Warsaw, was born a musician who has a special place in my heart. His name is Fryderyk Chopin . This outstanding romantic composer is one of the greatest Poles in history. His music is, for every Pole, very important and probably the most beautiful in the world. He could "describe, paint, and show Poland through his music". So as you can see I like classical music. Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann … I know their music.

Mozart's music helps me when I am studying. Really!!! Our class master plays on CDs in class with songs by Mozart when we have tests.

As you can see I'm strange in terms of music. I deeply regret that when I was younger my parents did not force me to learn how to play the piano. But life doesn't stop and in the future I will learn how to play this musical instrument.

Second question is strange. Let me I ask you first: Do you know any song in Polish? Ha, Ha! NO!!! I'm sure the answer is NO one hundred percent!!!

I don't know many Spanish singers... Mmm... Enrique Iglesias (he has his father Julio)? "Viva diva di da loca"? <--- Or something like that Penelope Cruz... "Viva Christina Barcelona"? No, no!!! She is an actress, sorry And I remember only these musicians from Spain. I can comfort you I know Salvador Dali, Miguel Cervantes, Placido Domingo (he is an opera singer, isn't he?), Pablo Picasso and Fracisco Franco. They are from Spain. And you? Do you know any know famous people from Poland?

Kamil Pendyk:

• Who is Kamil? Where does he live? How is his village?

He's 15. He lives in Chotomów, near Warsaw. His village is small, but he thinks the best word to describe it is medium, because if he wants to meet his friends he must walk a lot, .Λamong their houses are long distances Chotomów is developing dynamically, and they have a bus service which can take them to Warsaw in a few minutes:D, A lot of streets have asphalt, yet. He thinks Chotomów will be a part of Warsaw in the future…

• What does he like to do?

He likes listening to music, resting meeting his friends or, if the weather is bad, he talks with them on Skype. He doesn't practise any sports, but he likes to watch a good game of basketball and sometimes he plays in it, but he says he isn't good at it.

He does not have any sisters or brothers, he's an only child… :P His parents often tell him: "We will buy you a big suitcase for your 18th birthday”, they tell him because when they tell him he must clean his room, he says "What for?" So he's probably going to move out soon :D.

• His friends.

His best friend is Adam Napiórkowski, He lives near him and they meet very often. He goes to Church a lot and he goes with him. He likes meeting his other friends too, they generally meet at Fenix Café and talk, laugh and often eat some crips ;D

Edurne Urricelqui:

• In general

She’s Edurne, she’s 15 years old. She was born on the 17th of May in Pamplona, near Burlada, where she lives in a flat.

• Town, family, passion.

Burlada is a town, many years ago few people lived in there, but now, she thinks it has grown very quickly. She lives with her parents and her little brother - Daniel. He's 11 and he likes football. She has practiced athletics for more than 8 years. She likes different things, but especially speed and throws.

• Friends, what she likes and hates.

With her friends, when the weather is good, they go to Pamplona in the weekends, in the afternoon, but when it's raining they do other things, for example go to the shopping center (mall) - Itaroa and they go to the cinema or to the shops, to buy clothes. They usually go there by bus, because is a little bit far. When she was younger she liked to watch Disney's movies, but now she doesn't like watching that type of films. She likes too play football and hates to play with dolls, she has never liked them.

1.What countries would you like to visit?

-I´d like to visit Italy, U.S.A...and the Caribbean coast, although I have already been to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It is a wonderful place to visit.

2. What’s your favourite book? Why is that your favourite one?

-If I tell you the truth, I don´t like reading too much, and I don´t have a favourite one.

3. What’s your favourite music band? Why is that your best?

- I like a lot to listen to a Spanish band called Fondo Flamenco. This group is my favourite, because when I listen to their music I feel better. I suggest you to listen to their music, for example in YouTube?.

I don't have any favourite, but I like a lot comedy films.

5. Have you ever taken part in or would you like to take a part in La Tomatina?

-Nooooo.... but I´d like to.

6.What would you like to do in the future?

- I know that is impossible, but I'd like to play in Real Madrid, and win the 10th Champion League's Cup.

7. If you could use a time-machine, to what times would you like to be moved? Why would you pick that time?

- I don´t want to move to other times.

8. If you could change anything in your country, what would it be?

-I don´t know I think that my country is perfect.

9. If you could change anything in the world, what would it be?

That all people have sufficient money to live and no wars .

10. I’ve heard that you, in Spain, have got a different system of giving surnames to people from the one we have in Poland. Could you explain me how it works?

In Spain the first surname that the child has is the first surname of his father, the second is the first of his mother. This system all time for the third, fourth, fifth, ...

11. If you could a meet any famous person you’d like to, who would it be?

-Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid´s footbal player. Because I like football and he is the best player in the world.

12. If you could have one skill, at which you’d be really good just right now, what would it be?

- To be able to understand with all the people in the world.

13. What comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘Poland’? (Be honest .

- I don´t know much about Poland.

14. Do you have a siesta in the middle of the day?

- Yes, after have lunch .

15. If you had an opportunity, what superpower would you like to have?

- I'd like to be able to make dead people alive.

2. Do you like black and white movies? Why or why not?

-Not more than colour ones, but also not less.

3. What’s the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?

- Brr…I would like not to be asked about it.

4. What’s your favorite all time TV show and why?

- Now I’m totally into Dr House. But I also like the TV series called Pacific, which is based on historic facts. Some time ago I also used to watch pro grammes like Lost, Scrubs.

5. Have you ever been on TV?

- Nope, but I’ve been in newspaper twice – once, because newspaper has got its 15th (or something like that) birthday and second time, I was a tester of school tackles.

6. Has reading a book ever changed your life? If so, which one and why?

- Maybe they haven’t changed my life, but they’ve obviously had big limpact on me, all of them.

7. What was your favorite book as a child and why?

- It was some fantasy book which was read to me by my father. I liked it, because it was my first adult book.:D

8. What would you do if you had a million dollars?

- I’d give some part of it to my family (grandparents, aunties, etc.) and I’'d go for a really, really great trip.

9. Are you a good dancer?

- Not really, but I know some day things will change

10. What’s your favorite kind of music?

- I like rock and allied genres.

11. Are you playing video games now?

- Now of course not, but sometimes I do play video games.

TOPIC: Favourite film

Favourite film

Natalia Stachowicz

The film is about young people's love. At the beginning of the film we meet a guy, a first or second grader, who wants to join the most popular group at school. It's a group of friends, boys and girls, and the entire students look up to them. The group challenge him to jump into the river from the top of a platform, over 10 meters high. When he jumps into the river, he hits his head with a pipe hidden in the water and he is taken to hospital. A guy called London, the main character of the film is arrested. The school headmaster finds out about what happened.

When London is released the headmaster makes him clean the whole school and play in a school performance. At a rehearsal London meets Jamie, who plays the main role in the performance. At first he doesn't like her and makes fun of her, but as he comes to know her better he changes his mind about her and asks her out. Then he falls in love with her. When he tells her about it for the first time, she starts to cry and she tells him that she is seriously ill. He is shocked and he avoids talking to her the next day. But then he decides to help her and he tells her that he'll never leave her.

London designs and makes a telescope for Jamie, because he knows it's her greatest desire to watch a comet that is going to be in the sky soon. When he's working on it, Jamie goes to hospital, and London visits her there and he asks her to marry him. She is very

happy and she says "yes". She wants to have a wedding in the church, where her parents got married. When she leaves hospital, they get married. Three days later she dies.

At the end of the film we hear London saying:" Jamie is like the wind. I can feel her, but I can't see her".

I think it's a great film. It's got a wonderful story. The acting and the music are brilliant. Everybody may fall in love with somebody and then lose him or her. I recommend this film to everybody for whom love is important.

I have many favorite movies but one that I like a lot is Peter Pan, because since I was a child I’ve liked it so much and I remember it very well.

I have often dreamed that one day I would fly to Neverland, fight between pirates and get through many adventures there. I think that although we grow, we should never lose the illusion and never stop dreaming

In the story there is Wendy and her brothers. They lived in London and there every night Wendy used to read to her small brothers fantastic stories of pirates, Peter Pan and Captain Hook (pirate who is afraid of the tic- tac of the clock because it reminds him of the crocodile that ate his hand).

But the father of Wendy believes that it is the moment for Wendy to grow ad he decides to prohibit her to tell more infantile stories to her brothers. But what the parents do not know is that Peter Pan also liked Wendy’s stories and he travelled every night up to her house to listen to her.

One night Peter pan appeared in the room of the children with the jealous fairy Campanilla, and this is the beginning of a great adventure for Wendy and her brothers. They follow Peter Pan and fly out of the window across the rooftops of London to the magical Neverland, where they start a new

life without adult rules and with Peter Pan and the lost children.

In Neverland they lived incredible adventures with pirates, Indians, crocodiles, and Peter Pan´s worst enemy, Captain Hook who is in constant battle with Peter all the time.

In Neverland Wendy becomes the mother of her brothers and all lost children. Peter wants Wendy to stay with him, but she and her brothers missed their parents and wanted to go home.

Finally, after Peter Pan defeats Captain Hook, he leads them back to their house. When he tells them goodbye he tells them that they can grow but they should never lose their fantasy or imagination and always stay together.

Agata Koniecka and Naiara Irigoyen have interviewed each other to let everybody know more about themselves. Here you are the Information they have gathered.

About our lives

1. What is your full name? A- My full name is Agata Maria Antonina Koniecka.

N- Mine is Naiara Irigoyen.

2. How old are you? When is your birthday? A- I'm 16. My birthday was 29th April.

N- I am 14 years old, my birthday is on the 15th of October. 3. Where do you live? A- I live in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

N- I live in Burlada, a small city near Pamplona, the capital city of Navarre.

4. Have you got any brother or sister? And do you get on well with them?

A- I have one sister. Her name is Irmina. She's 25 years old. She lives in other city, Legionowo (near Warsaw). We meet every week and go to the cinema, park or theatre. We love spending our time together.

N- I have got one brother, his name is Asier. He is 17 years old, so he is older than me. Next year he will go to university. We get on well although we have a lot of arguments, but that is because he is my brother.

About our schools

5. What is your favourite subject? Why? A- Hm... my favourite subject is... every human subject. I like History, Polish, English and PSE. I like learning about people and people's languages, culture and history.

N- I don’t know... maybe physical education because I am very athletic. And also Natural Sciences and English.

6. Do you get good marks? A- Yes, I think that I can say that I get good marks.

7. What is the thing you like most of your school? A- In my school I like the most a new sports hall. Now I can play there my favourite sport, volleyball, with my friends. Earlier we had a small gymnasium and I was tired. I didn't like P.E.

N- I like the facilities it has, the library, the gym, the sports centre, the computers rooms... and I also like my classmates.

8. How many years have you been there? A- I've been here 9 years.

N- This is the third year here because before it I was in Burlada's primary school, it is called Hilarión Eslava.

About our hobbies

9. What do you like doing in your free time? A- In my free time I like reading a book (mostly Stephen King's horrors'), surfing on the net, going to the cinema or theatre and listening to music (rock). In the spring and summer I love running in my city!

N- In my free time, if i am at home, I like listening to music or watching TV... but I prefer going out with my friends or swimming.

10. Do you go to any extra-curricular activity? A- Not now.

N- Yes, I go swimming, I am in a swimming team and I love it.

11. Do you practice any sport? Tell me something about it. A- No, but one year ago I went to volleyball trainings. I am interested in volleyball and I like watching matches of the Polish National team. My favorite players are Mariusz Wlazly and Pawel Zagumny.

N- Yes, as I have said before I belong to a swimming team. It is called Amaya. I train everyday and I enjoy it very much. And some weekends we have competitions against other Navarrese clubs.

12. Do you enjoy practicing it? What other sports do you like? A- Oh, yes. I like volleyball, but also basketball and table tennis.

N- Yes!! I also like riding my bicycle, playing tennis... And I also like going to the mountain with my family.

About the future

13. What do you want to study? A- Well, I want to study Psychology.

N- I don't know it yet, but I want to study something related with Sciences.

14. Do you want to go to university? A- Yes.

N- Yes, of course

15. What would you like to be in the future? A- In the future I want to be a Psychologist. I want to work with people and help them in their problems.

N- I don't know it yet.
