RAPIDCAFS

The One-Touch RAPID CAFS is easy to use and requires only one additional step in the pump-engage process. It simplifies the regulation of wet or dry CAFS, a fire fighting need that is otherwise manual, difficult and time consuming without the Spartan CAFS. The simplicity and reliability it provides compliments the flow of water by enabling the electrical system to automatically actuate the injection of foam and air using state-of-the-art electronics and exclusive plumbing design/engineering.

1 easy step to flow cafsAfter pump is engaged and flowing water:

1. Press One-Touch button to engage CAFS(this will automatically engage foam system and inject air into appropriate discharge)

* Adjust wet/dry CAFS by gating the water valve and maintaining pressure

The Rapid CAFS standard system allows fire fighters more control of the CAFS final wet or dry product through the use of a simple CAFS toggle switch. State-of-the-art electronics are built into the standard system just as in the One-Touch RAPID CAFS to allow you to focus on the scene more, and your manual calculations less.

3 simple steps to flow cafsAfter pump is engaged and flowing water:1. Engage air compressor2. Open water valve with wet/dry CAFS switch (this will automatically engage foam system)3. Bring throttle to approximately 100 PSI (or normal pumping pressure)

* Adjust wet/dry CAFS with electronic switch technology

Spartan ERV’s Rapid CAFS are capable of generating air flows from 140 to 250 cubic feet per minute in PTO driven configurations. The engine driven system is capable of air capacities of 135 cubic feet per minute, while generating 185 gpm of water flow. Each system is capable of producing compressed air foam with both Class A and Class B foam (depending on the use of the foam system).
