ECONOMIC FEARS
The computer will be able to produce an invoice, update the customer account and print a
statement automatically, from one input of information: the payroll will be completed in one third of the time it takes a present, stock records
will be linked to purchasing, eliminating the need for several clerical operations. This could make staff fear redundancy or reduction in pay
because work will be completed in less time and lower-level skill will be required.

getting used to new people.
