I’ll start with a CEO, Dan Voven Hoven who is …. Said I believed, I want to make a

company that is a good place to work. And a believer of faith, he started by ……. What’re we going to spend money on it? What’re we going to spending time more important on it? And he’s believed that this will come back and be positive for the company economically. As well as being positive for the employ on the place to work that’s not science, they said “Oh! If you do several things with employed somebody will get 10% more productivity”. You just have to believe that all of this stuff feedback positively. To me that the foundation is that leave the faith than took, they said “It does make sense to try makes the company like this”

Some of the things that you find if you go around campus, you will find a gym, we got a

people passion about working out, yoga classes, playing with boat in the pond, volleyball, this is some of the kind of things you just see the energy dot com’s out. You also see a lot of environment of things, you see people biking to work, you see electric cars we got, electric car charging station, lockers for people, bikes. Some fact, one of the reason that we chose the location whereas ==walk across the street from the …rail and that may the reason for all the people to get to work in, not consume energy doing.

I believed when you get an energize people who enjoyed what’re they doing, and proud of

what they’re doing, they will do 10 times more. I don’t know if you had this experience, I’ve been part of groups, it didn’t get anything done I came to work there supposed to be work all day, nothing happen. I’ve been a part of other group, they just amazing stuff happen. What’s the different? The different is they feel good and feel motivating, it’s magic! You know when you think about if you’re ever be a group like that what it was made the group feel that way,

your boss understood you, you understood what the goal was, those of the things that drive people to a complex stuff. That’s the environment that we’re trying to create.

I believed one of the ways you create environment that employee’s feel good about want to work is to help them from their own passions, one of the programs we have is the volunteer time off program and we let employee takes up to 5 days off for your doing work with pate to do whatever thing they care about it to follow whatever does it. And it’s interesting because sometime somebody doing something alone but often employee will start to group together and say this is as a group of people and something we care about…..which is an example of that; I think we have got total 65 people now who grouped together to go a partner with……in doing a food fund raising. and sometime leading the something else, one area we had unemployed who is son with Autistic and focus a lot of time developing program, that’s personnel time development program for that and that turn into an area when the company creating a benefit.

We want to build something at last, we want to be build something a company that going

to be here for the long one. And I think one you makes that choice, a lot of other stuff falls out you can’t just focus on the bit in the bite or whatever the productivities that your company’s business. You have to focus on people, how to attract, how to make a place they want to stay.
