She liaises with key stakeholder groups in the educaon industry, manages events and public speaking and travels throughout WA and around Australia. Tina completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Markeng) at Curn University in December 2013. Aislinn is studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) at Curn University. While studying, she has been working with the University’s markeng team. Aſter graduaon Aislinn will pursue employment within the Oil and Gas Industry, aiming to travel and work internaonally. While compleng a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) at Curn, Liz was offered a traineeship at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Aſter compleng the degree she changed industries to pursue the Mining and Resources sector, gaining employement with an Engineering Consulng firm for Fortescue Metals groups. She now looks aſter the Contracts area for this company. She wants to promote the benefits of working in the industry and raise awareness of the potenal career paths. Megan is compleng her fourth year of a Bachelor of Science (Occupaonal Therapy) degree at Curn University. Megan has chosen this pathway because she enjoys helping and working with people. While studying Megan has been recognised for her contribuon as a mentor at Curn.

Tayla is in her final year of a Bachelor of Nursing and Pre-Medicine Certificate at the University of Notre Dame.She loves how nursing allows her to engage intimately with the community and provide social justice to those in need. She hope to practice overseas as well as in remote Australian hospitals and to specialise in perioperative nursing.

Lara is a Physiotherapist at Club Physiotherapy & Pilates. She is also currently completing a Masters of Clincial Physiotherapy part-time.Lara wants to become a Women’s Health specialist in physiotherapy with a view to conduct research in this area.She completed a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) at Curtin University in 2011.

Meet university student MEGAN SAGGERS (‘12) Meet events manager DANIKE BURGES (‘06)

Megan is in her second year of a Bachelor of Events, Sport and Recreation Management at Edith Cowan University. Megan completed the CareerLink programme and believes her work placements were very influential in helping her choose her career path. Megan hopes to work at a state sporting organisation in community development, disability inclusion or high performance.

Danike won a number of VET Awards in Year 12 including the Westscheme Award for Excellence in Vocational Education. She completed a Bachelor of Business (Management and Marketing) while working at AON Risk Insurance full-time. Before her Bachelor degree she completed a Certifice IV in Business Administration and a Diploma of Business Management at Phoenix Business College.

Meet university student MELISSA SIMONDS (‘10) Meet pharmacist ASHLEIGH CARTER (‘06)

Mel was valedictorian of Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry and Pathology) last year at UWA. This year she has started a Doctor of Medicine.While studying Mel has been a researcher at the Centre of Diabetes and working in the Liver Cancer Lab.

She would like to continue working in researching stem cell therapies for treatment of chronic diseases.

Ashleigh completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy at Curtin University in 2010. She loves the community pharmacy industry and is currently at Friendlies Chemist in Subiaco.

Ashleigh enjoys the variety of customers and experiences that pharamacy offers.

She may also consider other areas such as hospital pharmacy in the future.
