Where the little things mean everything. Born and raised in Peebles, Scotland, Chef William White was drawn into the culinary world when his passion for the industry and for food was recognized at an early age. William went on to study culinary arts in Edinburgh Scotland, where he learned to develop his own unique style and flair. He followed his culinary degree with an apprenticeship at the famous Peebles Hydro Hotel. He was so successful in the apprenticeship l that he was offered a job in Windsor England working with Master Chef Murdo MacSween at Oakley Court. Over the years, William worked in many famed vacation destinations such as Elbow Beach Hotel Bermuda and the Cayman Islands as Executive Chef at the Westin Resort. While in the Cayman Islands, a job opportunity in Toronto with Canadian Pacific Hotels (now Fairmont) brought him to Canada. He eventually relocated to Edmonton to become the Opening Executive Chef at their newly Renovated Fairmont property. William White stayed with the Fairmont organization as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director for over 14 years working in three different provinces. In early 2003 William White opened the critically acclaimed River House Grill in St. Albert, which he and his wife owned until 2013. William White is now the Executive Head Chef at the all new DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton. His passion for seeking out the finest in regional and local produce is a great match for the hotel, and the famous Mayfield Dinner Theatre. Executive Head Chef WILLIE WHITE

Born and raised in Peebles, Scotland, Chef William White was drawn into the culinary world when his passion for the industry and

for food was recognized at an early age. William went on to study culinary arts in Edinburgh Scotland, where he learned to develop his
